Stovepipe Wells General Store is a great place to stop before traveling into or leaving Death Valley National Park. The store has a great assortment of gifts and offers something for everyone. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is one of the rare shops in Death Valley where visitors can buy food and drink, although prices are expensive. The store is also a gas station with clean facilities and polite staff. Visitors can stop here for supplies and gas, which is much less expensive than other options in the area. The store's ambience is characteristic and welcoming.
Prices here are better than at the General Store at The Ranch. They offer an assortment of groceries and gifts.

FREE EV slow chargers! One j1772 & One NACS (w/built in j1772 adapter. Both 11.5kW Level 2 speeds intended for long-term parking or overnight. Though they can give 35-57mi of range per hour, depending on car. Still worth using if you’re buying something from the store or grabbing a bite across the street.
