“Love the concept because I'm always looking for ways to reduce waste, but I was surprised at the register. Most things are slightly more expensive, like the tofu and hemp seeds I got were about $2 more than if I had gone to Trader Joe's, but I refilled a large jug of vinegar (which I go through a lot of at a time to clean my coffee maker) and it was $17!! Costs $4 elsewhere. There's also a 3% employee wellness fee tacked on to your total as well. I was hesitant to write this review because again, I love the concept and the employees are so kind, but I can't get over the sticker shock for the vinegar (which like everything else is charged for by weight... I don't know how much a gallon of vinegar weighs without having to do some calculations and you know what, maybe I should have looked up the density of vinegar lol). I might be back for the laundry detergents and occasional dry goods refill, but this won't be my primary spot for anything since it's kind of pricey.”

“We've lived close to this market for 10 years and walk over multiple times per week. The service is friendly, and they carry international foods and hard-to-find foods. For instance, we were looking for Amarena cherries, which are difficult to find in bigger grocery stores but M & M had them. They have European chocolate. They have quality products, and as someone who eats healthy, it's not hard to find clean, high-quality products. We run over for cooking oils all the time. Great selection of alcohol, too...they even carry sake. They simply have a surprisingly large selection of quality goods that are hard to find. And they really cater to locals. They remember your name and your dog's name. Just a quality place with quality people.”

“The only place I'm aware of in the city where I can get Maties herring and Icelandic cod liver in a can. If you're into specialty fish imports, this is the place to go.Also, picked up some black truffle microwave popcorn for my truffle-obsessed wife. Some good food gift ideas available.”

“This store was on an episode of a 1972 TV show called the Rookies. Episode 3 called the Informant. It was to be held up and the actors were looking accross the street .”

“This is by far my favorite Ralph's. I can almost always get parking, their selection of organic and vegan foods is constantly expanding, and the produce manager is friendly and knowledgeable. That said, I recently bought an organic watermelon and two organic eggplants which looked fine but were rotten on the inside and inedible. I returned to the store without the rotten food. Not only did they refund my purchase, but I got phone calls from the store manager and the regional manager to check to see if I was satisfied with the response to my complaint. I was honestly blown away by the attention to a relatively small problem. I avoid the magnolia avenue store because of the local homeless population that unfortunately spills into the store and actively panhandles in the aisles until they're asked to leave, making the shopping experience less than ideal, and the new store on Ventura in Sherman oaks is laid out in a way that I find annoying and counter intuitive, with like items spread halfway across the store for reasons I can't fathom. Nope. This is my store.”

“I used the Kroger app which makes check out super easy. I also use the mailed coupons but they don't always have everything in stock however if you ask they'll apply the coupon to another item which is nice. The quality isn't as good as Gelson's that's the only reason I'm giving four stars.”

“Such a clean, well stocked store. Employees are very friendly. I haven't been in this store for a while, and am pleasantly surprised to see it thriving despite all the difficulties we are undergoing in the country”

“I stopped by this Vons store while waiting for a pizza place across the street to open. I wanted to get some flour tortilla and salsa for when I make quesadillas so it worked out. I prefer parking at this Vons over where the pizza place is at because it has a private lot. I found my tortilla easily but I didn't find the salsa I wanted so I got another brand. There a Starbucks inside this Vons but they don't have a lot of options for drinks. This Vons also has a self checkout station but there only like 5 station. The line was backing up so I went to a cashier station after they open a new one since they saw the line. The employees are nice and approachable it you need help.”
