“recently purchased an 18k Miami Cuban chain from Gold Empire Jewelry and had an outstanding experience working with Johnny.
Before visiting Gold Empire, we had already looked at chains at five or six different jewelry stores throughout the LA Jewelry District. While Johnny didn't initially have the exact chain I was looking for in stock, he was able to quickly source one through his supplier network. The chain he found ended up being the highest quality piece we saw and was offered at the best price of any option we came across.
What really set Johnny apart was his transparency and communication throughout the process. He was straightforward, responsive, and never made me feel pressured. In my opinion, a great jeweler is defined not only by what's in their display cases, but by the strength of their network of suppliers, repair professionals, and watch service providers. Johnny clearly has all of those relationships in place, which gave me confidence that I was working with someone who can help with much more than a single purchase.
I also brought in an old elephant pendant that had seen better days. Johnny arranged to have it polished while we waited, and the results were incredible—it looked brand new.
To top it off, Johnny provided an appraisal for the necklace, which was a nice added value and gave me additional peace of mind.

“I am so happy to give a huge shout out to Amore and Jon! I brought in a rare 1970s Omega Constellation watch that had died. Previously brought it to Swatch which owns Omega to get a repair estimate since it's so old and didn't think could find the needed parts anywhere else. They took forever to let me know it would cost $1900 to fix the watch. Mind you I paid $300 for it on ebay 3 years ago. I love the watch so much that I didn't want the story to end there. So I brought it to Second Time Around and talked to Amore. He wasn't sure he could find the needed part but said he'd do his best. Well....he found it! And has brought it back to life after 6 months on life support. The part itself was over $300 so the total repair cost came to $550 with labor. Considering that I love this watch more than any other watch I've ever seen (largely because no one else has it!), it was worth every penny. I would not hesitate to recommend Second Time Around to anyone looking to repair a beloved watch...these guys rock and absolutely love what they do...and it shows!”
