“Overall better than Home Depot. But still the only products on the shelf are clear customer returns. That stinks!!! Do better than the big box stores! And … the Gatorade I bought was warm. If you stock it, put the new ones in the back.”

“Love having this place nearby. As others have said: clean, cheerful and helpful staff eager to assist, wide variety of product.

On the staff: It is as if they imported these people from somewhere else. Definitely doesn't feel bay area.

Especially like the fasteners area. Deeper selection and better organized than HD or Lowes.

They have a very well thought out inventory. Most anything that isn't huge or heavy, they'll have a very intelligent and surprisingly broad selection of items.”

“Had an unusual screw that needed replacement. My local hardware store didn't have it and suggested I go to Olander. Carl was at the counter at Olander and he quickly found the screw. He was efficient and very pleasant. Highly recommend.”

“The folks at Sunnyvale Lumber are amazing! I came here after being recommended for my Eagle Project. They cut the wood down to size for me even though that is wasn't one of their standard sizes.”

“One of the best garden centers in the South bay. This branch of Lowe’s is regularly stocked with a variety of indoor and outdoor plants. As an indoor plant lover, I find myself going to this place on a weekly basis as there is almost always something new in the collection to look at! The store is also conveniently located at a place where it is not too crowded and has an amazing parking lot in terms of space.”

“Took bid on Water heater replacement. The service rep was excellent with options and suggestions. Did not hire as I received several bids. $$$$ was the main, but I'm an HP member, shop here weekly .”

“Another Home Depot. While it looks like any other, it is also as hard to find someone for help. Eventually, one finds what is needed, but the experience would be much better if it took half of the time it takes. Generally, using the app to find where the product is located helps a lot though.”

“I've had lots of bad experiences at Lowes lately, so I've gone more towards HD in recent years.

However, I needed to buy a patio table today and Lowe's had better options, so I purchased one. It took longer than I'd like because there was a strangely long backlog of people in the grill/patio furniture area, but I felt the need to leave a review because this gentleman named Philip is one of the best associates I've had the pleasure of interacting with in a store like this.

Extremely patient (with multiple customers bearing down on him), caring (the guy he called to get the table from the back took his time, and while Philip was working with another customer he was still worried about me and wanted to make sure I was being taken care of), and very obviously knows what he's doing (I at first asked another associate about the patio table and she literally pointed to Philip and was like "that guy", on top of me seeing him delegating tasks to multiple people, haha).

I feel like if Philip isn't running this whole store, he really should be.”
