“Elliston Vineyards in Sunol is seriously such a gorgeous wedding venue! I recently had the pleasure of photographing another wedding here and fell in love with this beautiful property again. Between the historic mansion, lush gardens, and stunning vineyard views, there are so many incredible spots for photos. The entire venue has this romantic, timeless feel that makes it such a beautiful setting for a wedding. As a wedding photographer, I especially love venues that offer a variety of backdrops without having to go far, and Elliston definitely delivers! Every little corner of this property is just beautiful. I also have to give a HUGE shoutout to Kaylee, the wedding and event planner at Elliston Vineyards! She was absolutely AMAZING to work with! She was so sweet, organized, communicative, and on top of everything throughout the day. As a photographer, having a coordinator who keeps everything running smoothly while also being so wonderful to work alongside makes such a difference. Kaylee truly went above and beyond, and I appreciated how easy she made everything for both the couple and the vendors. I absolutely loved photographing at Elliston Vineyards and would recommend this venue in a heartbeat to any couple looking for a beautiful Bay Area wedding venue!”

“Our wedding was a success! Thank you to the Casa Real team for making it happen. Such a smooth sailing event, and Casa real team together with our other vendors ran like a well-oiled machine! Our guests were raving about the timing of everything, the great food, overflowing drinks, and hospitable staff! We got Heather as our day of coordinator and she rocks!! From the first meeting, rehearsal day, and to the day of, can't commend her enough for the hard work of helping us out through the day. She wrangle people, items and vendors making sure our wedding go by smoothly. She is very thoughtful and kind, kept us on schedule without stressing us. Very quick on her feet! Really helped she can speak Vietnamese, helped with ushering our elder guest to be present! Our bar captain, Cindy also did a smooth job of ending the night and helping us with our client items. Clean up went smoothly!!! Can't thank everyone enough of taking care of us.”

“Beautiful Venue, Outstanding Food, Disappointing Management Experience My wife Deb and I recently celebrated her milestone birthday at Stonebrae Country Club. This was a once-in-a-lifetime milestone that we spent more than six months planning, and we wanted everything to be special. Let me begin with the positives because they deserve to be recognized. Stonebrae is a beautiful venue. The panoramic views are breathtaking, the clubhouse is elegant, and the food exceeded our expectations. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. The facility itself provided a wonderful backdrop for an unforgettable evening. The success of our event, however, was driven largely by our event planners, BB Event Productions, and our DJ, Theo. They were organized, attentive, and made sure every detail came together seamlessly. They delivered the level of service we expected for such an important occasion. Unfortunately, my experience with Stonebrae’s management team was very different. During the six months leading up to our event, I experienced multiple staff changes. As responsibilities shifted from one person to another, I repeatedly found myself reviewing details that had already been discussed. Communication often felt inconsistent, and I was left wondering whether important parts of our event were being tracked. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of personal engagement from management. Over those six months, I visited Stonebrae several times. Despite all of those meetings and preparations, I never had the opportunity to meet anyone from the management team other than Emma, the original sales representative who first assisted us. On the day of our event, I expected that someone from management would take a few moments to welcome us, introduce themselves, and simply ask if everything was going well. That never happened. To some people, that may seem like a small gesture. To me, when a family entrusts you with one of the most important celebrations of their lives, hospitality is about more than providing a beautiful room and good food. It’s about making your clients feel seen, appreciated, and valued. After the event, I shared this concern directly with Stonebrae. The response I received focused primarily on the final billing and did not address the customer service concerns I had raised. That was disappointing because I genuinely hoped my feedback would be acknowledged. Would I recommend Stonebrae? Yes—for the venue, the scenery, and the food. Would I recommend Stonebrae’s management experience? Not without hesitation. My hope is that Stonebrae’s leadership views this review as constructive feedback. The facility is outstanding and has everything needed to host an exceptional event. With more consistent communication, greater continuity during the planning process, and a simple commitment to personally welcoming clients on the day of their event, the overall experience could match the quality of the venue itself. I sincerely hope they make those improvements because the setting deserves service that is every bit as exceptional as the view.”

Our vision of how we wanted the venue to be decorated for our “Country” theme was perfectly executed! We decided on a Bbq buffet and the guests could not stop raving over the food. The staff exceeded our expectations from creating the menu, table setup and decor. Thank you for making this a night we will never forget.”

“I booked a party here for myself and friends for my birthday on a Monday afternoon. We ended up with only 4 people, but had a really great time. The laser tag area is big (2 floors) and plenty of places to hide. We did two rounds and the maze, which was hilarious and fun too. We’ll be back!”

From my initial sales contact to the front desk help, catering staff, AV and housekeeping, everyone went above and beyond to make sure myself and my guests had everything we needed. I honestly can't say enough good things about the staff and the hotel. The only thing that could make it better would be to move downtown Livermore closer, but the Uber trips were reasonable and quick.”

“We came to Camp Arroyo aka Wolf School for my middle schoolers field trip. It was a really great day outdoors where the kids got a chance to reconnect with nature and team build. They did various activities like rock climbing, trust games, hike up the mountainside. There's a lot of different activities at the campground we were only able to do a few since we were here for a short period of time. There are naturalist guides who head each activity. It was so wholesome to see a group of preteens have so much fun without technology! This site does offer some amazing services to the community of sick children or children that come from difficult situations such as children of cancer survivors. They offer summer camps and throughout the year they are open for classrooms to visit, I'm not sure if they offer company team building but if they are I highly suggest this place for your next field trip or team building program. Skipper was our naturalist and she had such a great report with the children they all really enjoyed how fun she made each activity.”

Probably at least 100 can be filled up. It’s pretty much clean here and the staff seem to be taking care of this building. I think that they do other big events, but not other events bigger than parties? Not sure but you can check with the staff for more questions.”

“Girls Scouts held their STEAM event here with Robot Gardens. It was an amazing event and possibly, more than likely, an eye opener for many of the girls to technology which is usually reserved for the boys. Saw an autonomous robot built for competition using GPS, sonar, etc. Found out last Robogames was/is 2018? Hopefully someone or some organization can pick it up what that event embodied. Girl Scout Technomancers and Byte Size teens assisted to teach the younger girls. REC lent Nancy McIntyre (leading the charge with Girl Powered) to provide knowledge and surprise goodies to the Girls and their families.Of course the young ladies loved the Playground before, during lunch and at break.”

“First the specifics....a five day stay.....3rd floor, middle of the secondary building, right above the swimming pool, lovely view of said pool. Day one.....at 10:15pm, bunch of teenagers playing in the pool, pool was supposed to be closed at 10, therefore not good night's sleep. Day 2, Absolutely NO service to our room!! Not even to empty trash can or get a second roll of toilet paper!! Apparently a wedding happened and ALL of the guests were on our floor--loud and partying until well after midnight, when I stuck my head out the door to tell them to shut up!! Day 3, we mention our displeasure to the staff, not a whole lot of response.....but we DID get the room cleaned and refreshed finally! The location is fabulous...the bed comfortable, the room amenities great, but the one thing--the service of the staff-- that CAN be controlled is the one thing that HASN'T been. Residence Inn....do better!!!”

“We hosted our daughter's 21st birthday in Dec'25. We had given some ideas about backdrop and decoration, within our low budget and wasn't sure how its gonna turn out. Same with the food, with some special requests(deviation from original menu). Juan and his team promised that they will be taking good care of all the requests. We were pleasantly surprised with the amazingly occasion perfect decor. Food was great and service was amazing. The entire celebration felt royal. We left with lots of beautiful memories and joy. I would definitely recommend this venue.”

“This hotel is close to the highway, but it was quiet enough. I had no issue with the noise. It's not quite a newly built hotel, so the room design, HVAC system, and some details like mold or fabrics can be a little bit outdated, but I had a decent stay (the room that I got had an HVAC issue, and the staff kindly changed my room to a new one, which had zero issue). I highly value the hotel's efforts to minimize plastic and disposable items at breakfast. I can understand hotels that don't do this due to management/cost aspects, but I believe this kind of effort should be highly appreciated! Overall, it's not a fancy or new hotel but decent enough w/o any issues, so I do recommend.”
