“Water Street Antiques & Interiors specializes in wood furniture. Real wood... no MDF, plywood, or veneers. The designs are timeless and classic. The furniture includes new and reclaimed antique wood furniture and European and Colonial antiques. They have two locations. This shop is in Sutter Creek, CA, right on Main Street aka Old Route 49. They are located across from the City Hall.

The shop is gorgeously curated and staged. Beautiful, quality pieces. Impressively large showroom. Pricing is not expensive but not cheap either. They even have home decor and textile tablecloths for purchase. Walking through here makes me want to redecorate my house. They have glass cabinets, sideboards, night stand, lamps, dining tables and chairs, antiques (over 100 years old), vintage pieces (not quite over 100 years old but creeping up there in age)... plus so much more. The dining and living pieces have a style vibe of modern farmhouse, California coastal, and English country manor. All stunning.

I loved the new handcrafted cotton tablecloths. Beautiful quality, They were thick, soft cotton with vibrant colors in various patterns, some bold and others subtle. The antiques they had were unique, there were these two wooden spice boxes from the 1890s that intrigued me. One is Czech with tiny enamel knobs and name plates, the other seems to have German based words with metal knobs and plates. Plus there was an antique wood carved animal butler (circa 1900s) near the front door that caught my eye. It stands near 5 feet tall (with its base), brightly painted colors, adorable facial expression and outfit.

They have a website and can arrange delivery and shipping.”

“This place is a hidden gem! I was staying nearby on a road trip and, as a lover of antiques and books, had to stop by to check the place out. My partner and I bought a few books, but we both regretted not combing the shelves more thoroughly and went back the next morning!”

“This is definitely one of my favorite stores ever! The Antique Gardener is so magical every corner feels so curated and intentional. From the rustic antiques to the cute garden stuff in the back, it’s such a lovely spot to Ooh and Ahh and maybe even find some inspiration to take home with you. Definitely worth a trip, even if you don’t usually shop for antiques.”

“On a Saturday afternoon I was on the hunt for a cinch clip to pull in my dress around the waist...of course, the cinch clip is so 80s, no one had it in stores, but I took one look at this store and knew I'd find something that would work and as soon as I walked in, I looked in the glass case, and there it was, glistening at me as if knowing I was looking for it. $10 and it was mine, and it looked so cute, worked perfectly I'm looking forward to a visit to this store tomorrow ?”

“It's alarming how many people are willing to outright lie and slander the lady who owns this shop. I've been visiting this delightful shop for years and the older lady being referenced is nice and NOT racist ! The shop is a fun place to browse and find interesting items. Shame on those that are lying!!!”
