“The pollo asado combo is sooo good. The best taste! Perfectly seasoned, moisty and has that smoked taste but not overwhelming. It comes with tortillas, beans, rice, salsas, and your whole chicken. They will cut it for you. Remember to ask for plates, forks and napkins to go, if you need them. They will attend to you very well. It's a small grocery market and restaurant combined. If you're in the mood to BBQ you'll find great quality meats there too.”
“I want to start this review off by saying the staff is so amazing and so knowledgeable and it really made the experience that much better! As an East Coast baby, this place has my heart and I definitely will be back. They have an amazing selection of meats as they are a butcher shop but serve food. if you stop and be sure to check out the meat selection as well as the full menu. I ordered the Italian beef with the seasoned broth and let me tell you something like home. It was a rainy day, so it was absolutely perfect. The establishment was clean and well taken care of and had one of the best meat cabinets I’ve seen in a long time. The prices are great considering their location and it’s walking distance away from a lot of other stuff.”

“The SF valley lacks high end carnicerías. I also don't want to drive to the hood for carne for a good old bbq. La Carnicería was clean, great open CLEAN space and buzzin with people on a friday afternoon. Amazing cuts of red meats and chicken. Now you know it's a cardinal sin in a latino home to purchase Carne Preparada aka seasoned meat but we gave it a chance and loved it! Beer and lime juice is all they use. We purchased their meat seasoning and added at home. We are now regulars and highly recommend them .”

They carry a variety of Kerala & south Indian items which will surprise you.They carry Arishtams, Kuzhambu, and similar items.They also have frozen Kerala fish like Aoili, Ayla, natholi, mathi etc which are good.They have frozen Kerala and south Indian vegetables and also rice varieties.The store is like a treasure hunt which will amaze you every time you visit with new items.”

“I googled this very-close-to-my-house space in search of pigs feet and oxtails to take to family, per their request. There was a slight line because it was just before Christmas, but once waited on, the butcher was helpful. The butcher shared that he cut the oxtails fresh daily. Mommy confirmed that the quality of what I brought her was top-notch, with no additional paring down of the oxtail fat being necessary, since they had been perfectly cut and trimmed.I was also asked by the butcher exactly how I wanted the pigs feet cut. Top shelf service, top shelf product.”

“Of all the great butchers and seafood shops I have been lucky enough to have access to over the years, nothing beats McCall's. Living in Manhattan, I've had my fair share of delicious New York strips, but this store is on a whole other level. It is a smaller steak than is typical, but every bite is perfect. Like butter. The shrimp is also fantastic. The fresh bread is the best around. The whole store is beautiful and everything is extraordinary.”

“Found this little butcher shop when shopping at Valley Produce. It's small, but the meat is nicely butchered and always very fresh. I like that one can call in a special order and they will butcher and package specially for you.There are two 2 star reviews....not for the meat but for the cashier. They are from 2017 & 2019 and should be removed. They both mentioned the rude cashier. My experience is that the cashier is very sweet and very helpful!!Try this place if you haven't already.”

“I went to purchase my ham as I do almost every year. When I pulled up I noticed the line was more than 2 blocks long on incline. I Stuffer from an autoimmune disease that has messed up my mobility with being said. I got out of my car to t that long line with my walker and started Up the incline towards the end of the line when one of the honey baked employees came running after me me. He kindly tapped me on the shoulder and said ma'am please come with me we want you to come inside to purchase your ham, they s as me struggling up the incline. I did not expect that I just wanted to get in line and eventually purchase my ham. They acted with compassion and kindness they helped me down the incline they walked with me until they saw I was safely inside. I want to sincerely thank all the honey baked employees that day two days before thanksgiving 2023. Yes the ham was delicious”

“I’ve been a customer for now almost over two years. Never felt bad about the meat products. The owner Kamal is very patient and help full getting the meat you want. I normally get the mutton. It’s clean and fresh. The lamb chop is fantastic. Also the fresh veal, this is a great place to get all halal meat products without disappointment in price and taste. I recently bought chicken leg and thighs the taste of it is great because it’s fresh hand slaughter. All the product are Zabihah Halal. He serves honestly to the community with lots of respect and love. I truly believe this place is safe to shop.”

Every time we've brought the chorizo and longaniza to BBQs people love it and they're surprised to hear where we purchase. I only go to this location because the NoHo one is just not the same or as good.”
