I am absolutely amazed by the service at the United States Postal Service in Westwood. Every single letter I send from this location reaches its recipient without any issues. In the past, my mail would often get lost when sent from other branches, but here everything works flawlessly!
The staff are wonderful — always friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to answer any questions. They work quickly and accurately, and they know exactly when to suggest additional services. Everything here is just perfect. Thank you!”
“I went in to deliver a package to Wisconsin and the man at the desk, Mickey, was so kind and helpful. He went above and beyond to explain what the best option would be for delivering my fragile package. “OMG the 4930 Balboa Blvd, Encino, CA 91316 post office is so amazing it's much better compared to the damn Winnetka USPS office around the corner of my home were I'm still resolving an issue with a package I assume they lost and is stuck in pre shipment after mom dropped it off for me the staff is friendly and amazing and I love the place so clean and tidy if you live near by just do it go to that office drive the extra mile for great service don't get disappointed by stupid customer service the post office I mention above my review is worth it a great place”
“Greatest Post Office on earth. Seriously, the entire team from Lupe to Daniel to Raul have allowed me to grow my business faster than I had ever hoped.Looking for a Post Office with actually super friendly employees and great service? Well, turns out it exists and it’s nestled nicely within Topanga.My only concern is that the team seems to be understaffed and overworked since the new Postmaster took over. The team works as hard as humanly possible, but there are still limits to what can be reasonably accomplished with only one or two employees at the front, especially as we approach the busiest time of the year for packages and mail.Thank you team!Andy”

“This post office was kind of tricky to find at first — it’s tucked away in the back corner of the plaza, and I actually passed by it once because I got confused and ended up at the UPS Store next to it instead. Just a heads-up if you’re going for the first time — it’s easy to miss if you’re not paying close attention.
Once I found it though, the service was great. The staff member working there (a Black man, didn’t catch his name) was super friendly and helpful. He took care of everything I needed, and even gave me a date stamp on my letter — which is something you don’t see very often anymore at post offices. That really stood out and made my day.
Unfortunately, they didn’t have the flag stamps in stock, which was a bummer because that’s what I came for. But aside from that, it was a smooth and positive experience.

“I came here for the first time to submit my passport application and I actually got the wrong dates but the right time for my appointment. I didn’t realize this until after I got there. This really nice black woman helped me out and she was able to squeeze me in and I cannot thank her enough for doing that for me. Which again was my a fault of my own for coming in on the wrong date. It was a super fast process it took less than 10 mins since I already came prepared with everything ready. I didn’t catch her name but I wanted to write this review to let her know that her kindness did not go unnoticed <3”
“I stopped by this USPS office to drop of an Amazon return. I been to the plaza this USPS office is in so many times but never knew there was a USPS here. I found parking easily since this office is in a plaza with many parking spots. When I walked inside the post office, there was no one in line so I was able to walk up and hand my package since everything was paid for already. I got my receipt and left, it was a simple and easy process.”
“I was dealing with a frustrating situation involving a missing parcel that had been stuck in transit with no updates for days. After getting nowhere online, I came into the branch hoping for some clarity—and that’s when I met Victor, the branch manager.
Victor was not only professional but genuinely helpful and patient. He took the time to listen, pulled up the tracking information, and made several calls on my behalf to locate the package. Thanks to his persistence and clear communication, we were able to track it down and get it moving again.

“This is my second time stopping by. The first one was not good at all. Probably it is because it's almost 5pm and they're closing soon. The male postal worker must be tired and he is not happy to answer inquiries. The second time, I came Friday afternoon. There was a line but it went fast. This lady named Sandra helped me to make the transaction easy. She explained to me in detail the differences regarding the amount of each mailing options. With that, it helped me a lot to decide. I agree with a fellow Yelper - Sandra has been a great. Recommended.”

Postmasters on Riverside Dr is hands down my go-to for shipping. The two gentlemen there are always super helpful and really know the ins and outs—whether I’m shipping to family in New York or sending packages internationally.
I’m writing this review because they saved me big time. Today, FedEx wanted $180 per package (plus box fees) to ship two large boxes to Utah. I went to Postmasters instead and they got it down to $88.20 per package. Huge difference.
Honest, knowledgeable, and fair pricing. I won’t ship anywhere else.”
“I honestly can’t say enough good things about this USPS location. I’ve been here multiple times for different services, and every visit has been consistently excellent.
The employees are incredibly kind, patient, and thorough. They explain everything clearly and make sure nothing is missed. You can really tell they care about doing their job well.

The quality of their service was exceptional, and the peace of mind I had knowing my items were in safe hands was priceless. This Post Office is my go-to choice for sending sensitive materials.”
“I love the convenience of this location! If you are on the UCLA campus, it is THE place to send off your snail mail to other cities, states, and countries. Sure, it is a bit small and cramped, but they offer nearly everything you need a post office to do... mail pre-postage paid items, pay for postage on boxes, buy stamps, etc. They even offer free tape and scissors. The longest I have seen the line is 6 people, and it has never taken more than 15 minutes to get to the front of the line... even during tax season. My local post office takes far longer, so I typically bring all of my mailing to work to send off from this location. The student workers are friendly and knowledgeable. Mail is usually picked up at two times during the day (1 p.m. and 4 p.m., I believe) and this location does not receive any mail or boxes (which expedites the line).”
“Only 4 stars because of the long wait ( 1hr outside, about 2 inside just waiting) but know that I did not have an appointment. Staff was extremely knowledgeable, helpful AND friendly! (Though tired, they're dealing with a lot).
1. Make sure your documents are COMPLETELY filled out BEFORE coming. If not I guess do it in line outside but bring a clipboard or something to write on. They do have a LIMITED supply of paper applications and they run out so that's why they recommend coming with your own.
2. Be prepared to wait. Bring water, headphones, a portable charger for your phone, a book, playing cards, whatever. You're gonna have to kill some time. There is AC inside and god bless them a fan (and it's hot) but there's an outside area with tables should you brave the heat (some of them have umbrellas so it's not too bad). One lady brought lunch with her. Queen.
3. Be prepared to STAND too. There aren't enough chairs. Wear comfortable shoes.
4. There are NO public bathrooms.
5. There are vending machines that are cash/coin only. Not sure if it's expensive but at least those are an option.
6. There was a fruit vendor near here and that fruit looked glorious in this heat so BRING CASH and support your local vendor.
All in all, my partners appointment only took him like 5 mins lol. Other people's seem to take way longer.”
“Came by on Wednesday last week and they helped me out so quickly and both staff members were really nice!! Have a nice conversation as well I recommend coming here for anything!! This one and San Fernando usps will be a favorite! I’ve had my far shares to the closest one to me which is Pacoima and they were terrible and rude but now I know where to drop off my stuff at :)! “This is the USPS location I use most of the time because it’s the closest to my house. The staff are always super friendly and ready to explain anything I need help with. They have a small parking lot that can get busy at times you might have to wait a minute or two or circle back for a spot. Inside, there are only two or three service counters, but the staff work efficiently and keep the line moving, so wait times are rarely an issue. I’ve had to send packages internationally before, and any time I had questions about the forms or process, they helped me every step of the way with a smile on their faces. It’s a completely different experience compared to the Reseda location, where everyone always looks miserable. I 100% recommend this USPS location to anyone in the Winnetka area who needs to send mail.”
