We have a membership and it saved my tail during an unexpected work trip. My four imperial shih tzus love hanging with the other little dogs and playing in the yard. They will also bath and groom your dogs before you pick them up for an extra fee.

The morning rush is extremely busy and the staff handle it very well. They treat everyone respectfully and never rush the customers. The vets in the back take they time to explain everything. I've never had a bad experience. So thankful to have this vet hospital in town!

The outdoor seating was nice especially during mid day (plenty of sun). They are dog friendly. The humans are friendly. It is in a commercial area which I enjoyed. It just hit the right spot during our drive and will be returning again when I'm on that route.

Have-a-Heart Humane Society
787 West Tehachapi Boulevard, TehachapiThis is such a great place! They take donations for their thrift store, which benefits the animals they rescue. It's a no-kill shelter, and the animals you see in their store actually get go home every night with foster families rather than being stuck in cages.
The volunteers are helpful and friendly, the animals adorable, and the store has a large ever-changing selection of wonderful finds.
