“First of all, I have previously used both of their body shops for repairs to my autos. Service, out of pocket costs, and attention to detail are outstanding. Jim, the owner, has a son at each facility. The young men are also honest and professional. What happened yesterday only solidified my opinion about this business. We were driving home from Northern California, in a crazy storm. Super intense rain and thunderstorms. I can't recall this kind of storm. It was a white knuckler for 5 hours. During the drive, water began dripping through the headliner. Then it started pouring in. I had to put my rain hat on, and told the wife that it had to be a leak in the sunroof. We finally made it home around 4 PM. After parking in the garage, I noticed the sunroof was slightly open. Yikes!! A self inflicted wound. I called the Newbury Park facility, and they told me to bring it over asap. Jim, the owner, immediately checked out the situation. Closing the sunroof completely stopped any further damage. But I didn't know what to do about the water damage in the headliner. Jim told me exactly how to fix the situation. It worked to a T. Air movement with some warmth. No charge. Headliner is totally dry without any smell or mold. No water lines. I don't know of any other business with that kind of integrity. It's just a WOW!!”

“I had a great experience purchasing a vehicle for my daughter from Garrett. I called asking for more pics and details about a 2018 i3 S that they had and Garrett was transparent with me on its condition, confirming some minor blemishes and providing a video walk around and additional pics so that I could judge for myself if it was worth the 1.5hr drive to check out the car in person and purchase. We worked out a deal over text and agreed on a fair price. When I arrived, I was given as much time as I needed to inspect the car, take it for a test drive, and charge it up at the local BMW dealer. I was gone for probably an hour and not once did they freak out or demand I bring the car back. I was pretty impressed that they gave me leeway to make sure I was good with the car. But the best part of my purchase experience with Garrett and team was the fact that they did not try to upsell me or "add on" any BS package like paint protection, GPS tracking, or fabric/leather warranties. All those are complete garbage and it's good to see Allen Motors not use those unethical bait and switch practices that other used car dealers do. It is probably the worst thing any dealer can do to you besides sell you a lemon. Garrett was professional, easy going, and made the process go very smoothly from beginning to end. I got a great car for my daughter at a fair price and I didn't have to wade through any BS sales pitches or get tricked into paying for "add ons" that I did not want. It was definitely a 10/10 experience for me and I've bought many cars over the years.”

Price was great too. We had another issue we needed help on this morning, brought the car in, he took care of the problem right away and once again had really great pricing. “I had a squeeling noise from the front of my car which I thought was the serpentine belt which still made the noise after replacing it. Then I was told it was probably the turbo from a shop but thought it was possibly a bolt based on an online video and hoping since there was only 73k miles on my mk6 GTI. The owner took my car for a drive and listen then after looking further determined it was the turbo. Thank you for replacing the turbo with the new part vs the other shop that was quoting a remanufactured part and though the newer part was somewhat more it was OEM and the overall the labor was a little bit cheaper than the first/other quote. When a broken bolt was found, which they visually showed us (my mechanically inclined friend and I), they were able to remove it for a reasonable price so both problems were fixed. Lastly they warned me of sidewall damage in one of my tires (which I knew about) but a mechanic also found that some of my tires were put on inside-out from the now closed Simi Valley Just Tires, but the T.O. Just Tires fixed both problems using the warranty for the bubble tire. I can only imagine the cost at a dealership considering how overpriced a transmission service was from the dealership recently. Thank you extremely to Jim and Mirek for the great work, service and price.”

“When I was driving in Malibu Canyon, hoping to catch a sunset, surf session, I suddenly encountered a large boulder, falling off the mountain onto Malibu Canyon. In order to avoid a collision, I abruptly steered and hydroplaned my car, hitting the side of the mountain. It all happened so fast,I went to my local Tesla store and they referred me to Harrys. I went there the next morning and was greeted by a very professional staff who seem to care about their customers.State Farm came and assess the damages as too much to be repaired and declared the car totaled ,I received a call from the body shop, informing me about the bad news, but this information was relayed in such a professional and compassionate manner.It is nice to know that there are still places left which operate with integrity.
