“I came in looking for a specific brand of dry food for my cats. They didn't have it, but the service was exceptional nonetheless.
The shop is large, clean, and stocked with many brands of food and toys. Food is in the name, but they carry a variety of pet supplies, of course.
I was impressed that the employee who I talked to, after realizing they didn't have my brand, suggested a few other options locally which might carry it. They respect that cats are particular, and rather than pushing something they carried, truly just helped me find what was best for my kitties. That's worth more than any product.”

“This review is for Ron. He was great. I went in because I found a flea on my cat & was kinda freaking out, wanting to see if there were any products I'd feel comfortable using. I actually went in two times that day. The first time he spent quite a bit of time w/ me & I ended up buying just a double bladed flea comb that he recommended. The 2nd time was after I used the comb & found more fleas. Ugh. Both times he was friendly & amazing at listening to my concerns about strong chemicals if avoidable, or essential oils that are advertised to naturally treat fleas but are actually harmful to cats. He spent time standing there w/ me looking through all the ingredients of many different products (they have a great selection). Also, he used to be a groomer so he had some knowledge based on that. He really seemed to care & his support meant a lot to me. If you have a need or question, go see Ron! And Ron, I hope you read this. Thank you, I appreciate you.”
“Absolutely loved this place and how they helped me so much when it came to questions about puppies and their habits and they don't even make you feel bad when you have to get a muzzle, as if you fail them but let me say, they also have dog training classes here and it's so convenient because you have your pet supply also here. The important part is, they also don't badmouth other pet supply stores because you feel like there is a community with all of them. They have a shared goal and that is, the love of animals with the employees”

“I reached out to Shelter Hope Pet Shop to see if I could take my Dad in for father's day. My dad has stage 4 colon cancer and alzheimer's. My dad is a dog lover and because of his condition he doesn't get out much anymore to the dog park with his dog. Shelter Hope was so kind to let us come for him to just play with the dogs. They even bought him a hat and socks for father's day. This is a day my dad will forget, but i will never forget!”
