“I was bullied and attacked most of my childhood so walking into new places with large groups of people can be intimidating and scary. Blueprint LA (BPLA) was the first gym I felt safe, comfortable, and welcomed the first day.I found Blueprint LA after I posted on Hermosa Forum (Facebook Group) looking for a personal trainer to get ready for my wedding. Coach Melissa answered my post. She was the one who first introduced me to BPLA and I will be forever grateful for her.I did personal training with Coach Melissa and Coach Shannan. I never felt alone. They have made such an incredible difference in my life. They helped me realize that if I am committed to something, there is nothing that will stop me from achieving what I want to achieve. Both trainers have pushed me to train harder than I would ever push myself. They continually inspire me to try things at a level higher than where my comfort zone lies and it means the world to me. They were patient, flexible to work around my schedule, and checked in on me daily to see how I was feeling after a session or in general. Melissa and Shannan are one-of-a-kind, really care about their clients, and want to make sure they reach their goals. They have helped me achieve an incredibly strong core which has given me more confidence with everything that I do! Thank you Melissa and Shannan for being my coach, friend and inspiration! I truly appreciate you both so much.BPLA coaches are always positive, encouraging, and full of energy. They are all love what they do and truly motivate and encourage all their members. The classes/workouts are always exciting, challenging & new. Working out has become much more fun because now I actually know what I’m doing with the help of the coaches. Not only am I in better shape now, but I also feel much more confident about myself. These workouts have had a huge positive impact on my life.Theres a podcast that you can listen to. This podcast helped me relate and connect to many of the coaches at BPLA.My advice to those setting health and fitness goals is to be patient and consistent, and that the work will pay off. “This is my first visit to Radience fitness and I am amazed at my experience thanks to the owner Dey! He welcomed me into his gym which was very ambiant and organized. We went over some of my problems with my elbow with limited range of motion and also problems with my walk, which looks like I am limping. Dey introduced me to some holistic approaches to healing which made a huge difference in the hour that I was there. His knowledge about the body and recovery as well as his genuine and compassionate care will guarantee that you will be receiving the best quality care here. I recommend this gym if you want to see real transformation and progress in a place where you are treated as family!”

“Great lifting gym! Visited more than 3 times with a day pass which is $13 I believe! But there are three day offers to get familiar with the gym and see if you like it! This gym is only 21+ so that is just amazing for those who want to be with people who are older! There are a variety of machines to use and will get you pumped for sure! If i lived closer i would definitely get the membership but i visit when i visit my partner. It also doesn't get too packed which is also a plus! Overall i recommend it 100% for the power lifters and gym rats who take the gym seriously!”

“One of the best CrossFit boxes I've had the pleasure of dropping into in my fitness journey! Located in an industrial side of Torrance, TTL was a great spot with modern facilities, a large training space, and fantastic community. Coach Ashley in the morning was fun and led us in a good warmup before proceeding with the WOD which was clearly written on one of the TV monitors. I loved being able to get a good (and challenging) workout and also engaging with a lot of the local athletes. Everyone was welcoming and it was fun to crush a pretty advanced WOD. Although I would argue that the 400m run around the gym is a bit longer than 400, I can't be too upset at working my body up just a bit more. Thanks TTL for the great drop-in experience. I will definitely be back if the opportunity presents itself.”

“This was my first kettlebell class I've ever taken and I was kind of nervous. I used to do a lot of powerlifting and weight lifting when I was younger. I wasn't a professional or competed on the platform for powerlifting lol I wasn't strong enough ( squat: 385 deadlift: 405and bench measly 315 lol) . I've gotten old, spine surgery 4 years ago, left knee surgery 5 months ago and right knee 20 years ago. Also, I've packed on 30 lbs....of blubber haha. So, I was really nervous to see how out of shape I am. I lift weights 4 days a week but this is a different animal for me, I kettlebell training was gonna kick my butt. I parked in front ( they have parking in their lot), I entered and was greeted by Jason. You know when you have that feeling or aura someone is going to be really cool. That's what I got from him. He was super smiley and was like ," joe right?" ( because for class you sign up online which is helpful). I told him a had a Groupon ( usually people give you some kind of like "cheapskate" look when you have those haha) he didn't he was super happy I got the package. We had some time to talk before class and he asked me what my goals were and I told him I'd like to get back to 180-190 lbs. He was asking about my diet ( what's that I eat everything in sight haha) but I told him I'm intermittent fasting and started dieting this week. He was like yes man we'll get you sub 200. He was like someone I've known for along time but just met. Met 2 really nice ladies in class that were super welcoming. We started with warmups and I think about 30 minutes into class I almost passed out hahahahaha not really I was just breathing really hard. The whole time Jason was smiling and going over everyone's form and giving tips. Like how is this guy so smiley and nice and he's murdering me lmao. After the class was over I was so happy for one I survived and 2 it was just a fun class....I told Jason I can lift weights 7 days a week but this cardio and kettlebells i only enjoy I'm group settings so I'm happy that I joined his place . I can't wait to get back to 185 lbs. I used to do it on my own but it's much more enjoyable when I'm not on a stair master for 45 minutes being bored outta my mind. Thanks for the QL strengthening tips Jason ( as soon as he said I learned this from Donnie Thompson I was like the "super d" "bow tie? " haha) and for the stickers. I'll see you Saturday.”

“I have never written a yelp review, but I think Muscles for Me deserves my time to do this. I started strength training with Cari at Muscles for Me late June 2021. I am a senior citizen with tennis elbow in both arms, back, knee and foot issues, etc. I needed lots of consideration for injuries. I had not been able to go to the gym during Covid. I had managed to lose some weight but unfortunately, I felt I suddenly lost all my collagen and muscle tone so everything was sagging. At my age, I wasn't sure I could even do the work or make a difference but I had to try. I certainly didn't feel comfortable going back to the gym yet. This business has been perfect for me. It allows me time in the gym of Cari's creation with just her & I in the building. I feel safe and I look forward to this time. Cari helped me gradually work through my issues without any injuries or setbacks. Her focus on correct form is what makes this possible. She takes the time to explain why the correct form will build the muscle you want and avoid injury. She helped me gain strength & confidence. I am already doing exercises & weight levels I never thought I never could do again. Even though it's been a short period of time, I can see tremendous progress already and as I continue to do the work I'm sure I will see more. In addition to being very competent & knowledgeable, Cari is very warm & caring while remaining very professional. Cari is a great chef and shares the fruits of her labor with those of us who desire to eat healthfully, but want less time shopping and cooking. I order food from her at Caring-Cuisine.com. I love the food and the process is easy and painless. I highly recommend giving Cari a chance to build your strength at Muscles for Me if this is the type of business and atmosphere you're looking for.”

“Been going there since August 2023 (4-5 months). Doing their Sweat program (CrossFit-like) courses. They extended their days which gave me some flexibility with my workout schedule. All sessions have been awesome. Coaches have also been great (Zack and Reno) and assisting us greatly with our performance and improving on technique. My performance has improved a lot. Glad I went back to working out at a physical location after doing remote workouts for 1.5 years. Looking forward to more workouts at a great place!”

“This is the best gym for me! It's close by, on Crenshaw and Sepulveda, the best workout, the best star. It's almost like getting personal training. In just 30 minutes I get a really great workout and even just coming here twice a week you'll do wonders for your help. I find it hard going to the gym every single time I'm so glad I came here. Coach Aaron is the best, but the others are awesome too. Give it a try! Really good price, too!”

“I have seen so many bad reviews about the smell and the gym being crowded but it is really not that crowded. Yes the machines are a little old but they aren't gross. The only problem I do see is the downstairs bathroom, the upstairs one is fine but the downstairs one is disgusting so I never use it. Other than that I don't really understand the bad reviews.”
