“California's oldest lumber company was founded in 1884 and also, still one of the best. They even took a chance on plywood in 1906, a year after it was invented. Today they're on their 4th generation of being Family run and in the 70s started one of the first employee ownership programs in the US. If that doesn't make you want to never go into a home depot or lowes again, then maybe their excellent customer service, happy employees, pristine showroom, quality lumber, rare slab selection, and bulk pricing will. This is exactly the kind of company that deserves your dollar over the big box corporate garbage.”

“I always enjoy stopping by this Ace Hardware when I'm working on my garden. They have a really nice selection of plants, flowers, soil, and gardening supplies, and everything always looks well cared for. The staff are friendly and don't make you feel rushed—they're happy to answer questions and offer helpful advice if you're not sure what you need. It's become one of my favorite places to shop for gardening because it feels welcoming and I can usually find exactly what I'm looking for.”

“If you are in the market for anything that this store sells, please go and do business with them whenever you are able. Customer service like this just doesn’t exist anymore. I called in to Reece less than 5min before closing for a rubber washer that probably cost less than $.50, but was gonna be a lifesaver for my evening. I was a little more than 5min away and Damion, the wonderful gentleman who answered my call, FaceTimed me on the spot to see what part I needed, he then took it out of the store before they closed So he could give it to me five minutes after he had to lock the doors. He totally would’ve been justified to have taken my call and said, “sorry buddy. You gotta come tomorrow.” but what he did without a doubt will have me returning to the store anytime I I am able to give them my business. Thank you Damion!”

“We found Bill Henley Inc via Internet search. We were skeptical in the beginning as we saw only two reviews on Yelp (although both gave five stars). But when Frank Henley came to our home to estimate, our worry quickly went away. Frank looked a friendly, solid, and trustable person. Frank understood our needs and was very patient. On the day for our hardwood flooring repair project, Frank and his crew came very much on time. They were awesome. They did the job with care and did a thorough clean-up upon completion. They are well-trained, knowledgeable, and experienced! With no doubt we will call Frank again if we have another flooring project. If you have needs in hardwood flooring, you could trust our experience and simply call Frank up!”

“(This review is a bit overdue, was there about a week ago) I would like to thank Ali, the very nice gentlemen that works the front desk. I placed and order online for two slide doors and did not realized I had not order all the pieces I need it. Ask him for help, he was very patient and contacted the N.C. offices just to verify the parts I need it to order. unfortunately the pieces I need it were out of stock in Torrance but he also help me place the new order and got it ship to my shop. It was the first time ordering through Hafele, definitely will order more stuff soon. Ali's costumer service was beyond what I expected, he has a great welcoming attitude, hes' an excellent employee. Thank You!”

“Needed part for 43 year old tub faucet cartridge valve seat and Home Depot sent the wrong part. Went to Torrance Industrial Hardware (ACE Hardware). And found the valve seat but had to purchase a stem and valve seat combo to get the right ones. They didn't carry the valve seats as a separate set like you used to be able to get. So had to pay $9 each where use to buy them for $2-$4 per set. But they had them available so was able to make the wife happy!😄”

“I was interested in a heavy duty Husky Tool box. No one was around to help. Matt finally came to help, very helpful, but the price was marked wrong! Matt contacted Manager Mario, who showed me more of a selection of Tool Boxes and very helpful! Mario stayed with my wife and I, really helped me out and turned us over to Vanessa to assist us with check out. Also, very helpful and assisted us with vacuum cleaners.”

“Antonio and Chris were incredibly helpful, as always. They went above and beyond by helping us load and unload eight carts full of flowers with such a positive attitude. Their hard work, kindness, and willingness to help made a huge difference. It’s rare to find people who genuinely care and are always ready to lend a hand. God bless them and all the amazing people who work here. Thank you for your outstanding customer service you are truly appreciated!”
