“Gelsons supermarket is one of the most organized and fancy markets in Southern California. Excellent produce, Deli, Salad bar. All the regular daily needs plus more exotic funds. Their prices are typically more expensive than other markets. But besides the excellent quality and selection, they do offer better sevices like opening up more registers as soon as the available ones get busy.”
“This place has tons of new merchandise, clothes, garden supplies, party favorites, groceries, bicycle equipment, cosmetics, everything under the sun. A every single thing is reasonably priced and good quality. Nice, friendly staff and very clean building. Be careful though. I only went in for 2 small things and ended up leaving with a basket full!”
“I had an amazing experience buying cigars at Qwik Korner Liquor #57 recently. I needed two Cohiba Robusto-like boxes, one for my father-in-law's birthday and the other for my best friend's wedding. The staff—who went by name—was really helpful, and the store boasted an impressive selection of cigars. They led me to choices that were just as strong and flavorful as I liked.I looked around for a while and eventually discovered two exquisite boxes of cigars for special occasions. It was a wonderful process that was easy and stress-free.For those looking for high-quality cigars, Qwik Korner Liquor #57 proved to be a convenient place to visit. The store's extensive assortment and friendly staff make it a go-to for anyone, new or experienced in cigars. In conclusion, Qwik Korner Liquor #57 is not just a store; it's a portal to a parallel universe where the liquor aisle is the gateway to unimaginable delights. If you're tired of the mundane and seek an experience that defies logic, this is your boozy Shangri-La. Just remember to bring your sense of adventure and possibly a hat to tip to the invisible mariachi cat. Cheers to the Qwik Korner Liquor #57 odyssey!”
“Great place to go for about anything from a small market. You don't see many markets around the water especially on the boardwalk. So it a very good place to go if you don't want to grab your keys and drive out to find a market . Just stay in your comfort zone and walk on in . Very convenient place to shop . Nicolas likes meeting all kinds of his furry friends to sniff , and bark at.”
“ALDI is a great grocery store for fresh products at very affordable prices. The produce is usually fresh, the shelves are well stocked, and the store layout makes shopping quick and easy. I appreciate the simple selection and the fact that you can save money without sacrificing quality. Overall, ALDI is a reliable and budget-friendly place for everyday grocery shopping.”
“One of my favorite stores love the Aldi's finds love the prices and selection just wish that they would have made the mushroom coffee and the mushroom complex a permanent item”
“This market offers a variety of meats, frozen foods, pita bread, pastry, cheese, olives, spices and a large produce department. Their prices are extremely affordable. They also have hot meals there to go. Great market to shop at ??”
“As someone who just moved from a different area, I REALLY like this Aldi. They have a really interesting selection of seasonal items (planters, greenhouses, raised flower beds, and storage to name a few) along with more pre-made sides (potato salad, macaroni salad, and more), house made pizzas, bbq, Hawaiian chicken with pineapples, and much more. The staff was very kind and attentive with everyone even though it was very busy. They do offer tap to pay (??), and Aldi prices just can't be beat. Just don't forget your quarter if you need a shopping cart. ?”
“Came here this morning to snag a great deal on energy drinks. Overall the selection of things isn’t as great as other stores BUT I have to say the young man that was helping at the check out was phenomenal. Had high energy, good vibes, friendly and made my day, the dude deserves a raise.”

“They carry a lot of hard to find items from the UK, like Bangers, Black & White Pudding, Rashers, Flake Bars, Malteasers, Aero Bars, Mushy Peas ... enough to make my London-born wife feel right at home. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It's located inside a big building (a former Hotel back in the early 1900s) called Villa del Sol, parking is around the back or on Wilshire Ave (Wilshire Ave may be blocked off at Harbor Blvd so you may need to turn a block early and come in from the west). They have a restaurant/bar associated with them that's pretty good, The Olde Ship, a few blocks north of them on Harbor Blvd.”
“Small international store with some products that you cannot find in a regular store such as Ukrainian cookies and candy, Latvian cottage cheese. I drive to this store especially for fresh fruits and vegetables. Also, they have a bakery with indeed delicious Persian desserts. It’s not cheap but worth it.”
“My teammates took me here and I loved it! I tried different Philippine(I apologize if thats not written correctly) dishes, everything was really good and I'm looking forward to going again!”
“Love Grocery Outlet—This location has just about everything you could want, I love that they have a good amount of natural and organic items. Overall good prices.
I didn’t like the way the young man at the register talked to me about how to scan your cc. Otherwise, it was a fine enough trip.
Plenty of parking and good location.”
“Went here and I loved the place. owner is great really nice lot of variety of food and went to get meat at the Carnecería and it was so fresh really recommend also the guy that works at the Carnecería Is really nice totally recommend”
“Good experience every time I go to this location specifically. And if you're looking for moist pan dulce .this is the place.. the ones with the lightly sugared different colors on top ?”
“I often visit the store. There are many greens, fruit, and vegetables. There are products from Ukraine, Latvia, etc. post USS Republic: chocolate, farmer cheese, bread, buckwheat.... I can't buy all that I want. This store is in 2nd place after Costco.”
“Busy restaurant with people eager to order food, all inside a grocery store which also sells special herbs and spices. Love to see the local community business who encourage living peacefully.”
“I always enjoy shopping at Seafood City! The store is very clean, well-organized, and has a great selection of fresh seafood, meats, and Filipino products that are hard to find elsewhere. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are fair for the quality. I especially appreciate the variety of snacks, sauces, and ready-to-eat meals available at the food court area — everything tastes fresh and authentic.
Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves Asian or Filipino food and wants a one-stop shop for groceries and cooked meals!
Clean store Friendly staff Fresh seafood & Good prices.”
“Everything is fine, even the people who serve are very friendly, the problem is that here the WIC now charges 10 cents more for juice and in other places they don't charge you anything at all.”
“La Catreta Supermarket, had the groceries I needed, at prices, I was willing to pay. Thanks guys & gals for your customer service over the years since Von's moved out from that location.”
“Lowkey, better than the other korean markets on Beach Blvd and I'll tell you why.
Meat dept - their service is amazing. The butchers wear masks, but you can tell they're smiling when they greet you. The meat selection is top tier, good marbling, with no bone dust, their marinaded meat is booooomb. Meat is always on sale and hasn't gone up in price compared to other markets. You can also call in the morning to place an order bcause some of their meat sell out before 6pm.
Produce dept - fresh selection of literally everything you need for korean dishes. Everything is usually fairly priced or cheaper than other korean markets.
Deli - I shop after work, so most of the pre-made items are almost gone. But that tells me that their food is bomb.
Snack selection is kind of lacking, but I don't really snack anyway.
Other miscellaneous products such as canned food, spices, oils, etc are fairly priced.
The checkout ajummas are always friendly and greet you with a smile. Service like this is really rare these days and I just wanted to point that out.
The place is pretty old and you can tell it hasn't really been refinished since the 90's, but who really cares as long as their prices are cheap while their quality is top tier.”
“Stopped by here for a tray of their delicious tortilla chips and took one look at their Chile rellenos and had to try one. So glad I did. They're huge and sooooo delicious. The service is always great, staff is always super friendly, place is always clean.”

“(Translated by Google) The store is very nice, there is a lot of variety of products and despite the fact that imports are very expensive, I think the prices are fair compared to the La Chapina bakery, much better services, looking for different food every day, Guatemalan food(Original)Es muy bonita la tienda hay mucha variedad de productos y a pesar de que es muy cara la importación creo que los precios son justos comparados con panadería la chapina servicios mucho mejor buscando en comida diferente todos los días comida de Guatemala”
“Great staff, plenty of parking and fully stocked with chilled alcoholic bottles to suit your shot cravings. Special thank you to the handsomely hombre at the counter and the cutie who handle the chilled michelada mix bottle. You guys are awesome!”
“Discovered this market a few weeks ago and was surprised by the quality of the carniceria (deli) items and pre made salsas. My go to market now for common everyday Mexican ingredients! Don't forget to visit the panaderia (bakery) next door!”
“Great mexican food to go mainly. This is the real flavor of the Mexican food with fresh and delicious tortillas.
I love the chicharron en salsa verde, las carnitas y las aguas frescas.”
“The place has been remodeled and it’s very tidy now and very convenient. As a neighbor I wish they had more international products but I totally understand that they are specialized in Vietnamese products as they are the largest population in the area. Keep it up and hopefully you can expand for other markets like Arabic and Latinos.”
“Great prices. And good food. Got the store brand version of Ruffles chips, turns out they are better than Ruffles. Limited selection of products but what they have is very good and at a much lower cost. You should check out Aldi's”
