“I’ve been going to CrossFit One World for about 14 months now, and it’s been a great experience. I first joined the Boot Camp program, and coaches JP and Moe really made a difference for me. I had no background in CrossFit or weightlifting and felt completely new to it all, but they explained the basics clearly, kept things motivating, and often stepped in to correct form so we built the right foundation. That gave me confidence and made the classes something I looked forward to instead of dreaded.

Over time, I enjoyed Boot Camp so much that I moved into CrossFit. I’m still a beginner in CrossFit and probably will be for a while but my weight loss has accelerated since making the switch, and I’ve started feeling stronger, healthier, and more positive overall.

So far, I’ve had classes with seven different coaches plus Brad, the owner, and every one of them has been dedicated, approachable, and engaged. Each coach has their own style, which makes it fun you pick up something new in every session. Brad himself is humble and very committed to building the kind of community that makes people want to keep coming back.

The best part of this gym is the great community of coaches n people. It’s full of people who push themselves, encourage each other, and make the hard work enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place that challenges you but also supports you, CrossFit One World is it.

“The class is a high-energy workout that combines cardio, strength, and technique into one session. Ceez and Ray have provided a safe space that builds endurance, improves coordination, and tones the entire body while also being a powerful stress reliever. The rest of the staff are highly motivational and give you the right amount of push to get you pumped and going! Their hours are pretty much flexible for that early start of the morning to that last minute workout to end the day. “I started my 6 week challenge journey at EPG and since then I am obsessed with strength training! The coaches were very friendly. Different exercise drills everyday make the class go very fast. I love that Liz and Kevin will reach out to check out if I need help on my diet and offer suggestions to reach my fitness goals. “I came to the gym during Christmas break while visiting my family. I got membership for a month to keep my momentum going.It was such a great gym experience! It's a holistic workout that's fun and enjoyable. There's cardio, strength training, core work, arm toning and boxing to release fully. Each day the workouts vary keeping things interesting.The staff were always attentive and thoughtful. Theyre very encouraging. I never felt any pressure to push past my limits, they do a great job of meeting you where you're at.If you're looking to get back to the gym, this is a fun, holistic workout. “Love this place, I wish I can go back soon. I miss Z so much and his classes. They have recently made so many changes, can’t wait to go back with huge fully equipped facility ( Cold plunge, bar club, Therapist and many more) with positive vibes. Cold plunge is my favorite even though I was hardly able to survive for a minute ?.
Gym has friendly vibes and community means a lot for them. If you are looking to make friends with good workout, this place is for you. They organize CrossFit events, 2024 CrossFit 24.1 was organized at CrossFit Pleasanton.
Besides the daily CrossFit WOD , they educate people on healthy life style and also train people on CrossFit Games, almost 30+ people qualify every year for NCC(Northern California Classic). Gym owner Zoltan is passionate to help and train people. Trust they will have another expansion in Burlingame neighborhood.”

“Love this place. If your looking for a place to really work out, then this is your place. All the trainers are genuinely helpful to your specific goals. I was so much more comfortable working out here than at a big chain gym. The best part about the group classes is that they allow you to workout the right way & at your capability so you do not hurt yourself. Each class offered is intense but with slightly different instructor technique - will keep you coming back for more (and sore)! Lol Attended this gym for 6 months, unfortunately, due to work schedule and travel, could not continue. I do want to give special shoutout to the owner Marlon. “I’ve been going to this studio for over a year and love the HIIT class with Carolyn. She has great energy and switches up the routines to keep the classes hard and engaging. Jaz is also a fantastic vinyasa instructor and love taking her classes.Only drawbacks of this studio is limited vinyasa classes after work hours and days offered. The latest vinyasa class is at 4 pm which often doesn’t work with my schedule. I also wish they had Tuesday and Thursday evening vinyasa classes!Owner is engaged and responsive.Edit 5/19Studio added evening vinyasa classes after hearing feedback from students! Very excited for expanded opportunities to take classes.”

“I've been doing the boxing and muay thai here for almost 9 months now and it's been great. The coaches are all knowledgeable and the staff is very helpful/supportive. I mainly take the boxing class so I'll speak more about that. There are boxing classes for all age groups and skill levels. They have open sparring twice a week and there are some active amateur fighters training here so the sparring is good and technical. If you're not interested in sparring/competing the class is still a lot of fun and a great workout. Great place, would recommend!”

“I've been going to D's since 2016 and feel like it's home. My favorite classes are Ivania's Tues morning strength class and Jess' Thursday evening zumba class. They're incredible instructors and make all who come feel welcome. The gym has everything you need: free weights, machines, mats etc. I can't wait to see it once renovations are complete! The new owner has taken time to consider what an ideal women's gym should have. Once, it's all finished it will look and be THE place to workout in Castro Valley. Don't hesitate to check D's out!”

“I honestly was very skeptical and anxious about joining this gym knowing the way Oakland is. But to my surprise, it has a very pleasant atmosphere without any loud obnoxious activity and the equipment is well maintained. There seems to be no loud music at all which is great. It also is very clean, which matters a lot when it comes to joining a gym. The parking lot is very safe and clean, which is very pleasing so I don’t have to worry about any theft or break-ins. Overall it is a very nice and safe gym. I give huge appreciation to the owner and the manager for Making this gym very welcoming and pleasant for everyone.

“The gym is for tenants of PRC, so it's not public. You register on their website and sign in at the front each visit, but there's no limit to the number of visits. They have a good selection of equipment, with some free weights, several machines, and a range of cardio equipment. The hours are a bit limited, but it's still an extremely convenient gym.”

“I have never been a gym rat, but OTF has changed my mind since August 2023. It started with an incredible pitch by Coach Jess, and Coaches Erika and Alyssa continue to be my favorite start of the day. I attend twice a week and it has immensely helped my mental health, as well as physical health. Classes fill quickly because these coaches at this location are the real deal as 100% amazing! Book in advance and don’t wait last minute.

“I go to school here so I m a fan, however, it is very, very, very far away from civilization (BART/Bus/etc.) and it's up a huge hill. But that being said, I like all of the online stuff they have for students. I can say that as a graduate student, I liked the fact that I could borrow a computer, buy my books and other things from the bookstore, and have them sent to me. And I can do all of this online. My program is all online and uses CANVAS and it's great. I get an email account as well. The only issue is my student ID which I need to get in person - argh!!! I want the discounts so I have to inconvenience myself to get it. But that's a rich, fancy person's problem. My fave is that when I graduate, we will have a double CSU East Bay (Hayward State for the hubs) household. But all in all, I have liked my experience here and would advise anyone else to go.”
