“A nice hotel just to stay and chill to go quick to the theme parks like universal but the rooms weren’t so great with us having to say multiple times to switch rooms because of inconveniences such as smelly rooms, noisy fans, and the drains not working and the worker would not fix the errors easily but we were able to get access to the theme park easily but parking was about 70$ and was not cheap so we parked elsewhere. On the side you get a pool and hot tub as well as breakfast which has to be paid for.”

“As a Los Angeles wedding photographer, I recently had the pleasure of photographing a ceremony at this incredible church — and it was such a memorable experience. The space is LGBTQ+ friendly, warm, and welcoming to all couples, which makes it even more special.
The church itself is stunning, with beautiful gothic architecture, tall arches, and elegant details that give every photo a timeless look. The light inside is soft and atmospheric, creating a perfect mood for wedding ceremonies. For professional photographers, I’d recommend bringing some additional external lighting, especially near the front section of the church, where natural light can be limited.
Couples should keep in mind that the time allowed for photography inside is limited, since the venue charges per hour spent there. In my case, we didn’t have much extra time for portraits inside, but we still captured some incredible moments before heading outdoors.
Overall, I truly enjoyed shooting here — it’s a one-of-a-kind location that blends classic architecture with inclusivity and heart. Highly recommend it for couples looking for a Los Angeles church wedding venue that’s both elegant and welcoming.

Kenneth at the front desk was exceptional from the very first call. He secured a beautiful suite for us at a fair price, and the service throughout our experience was outstanding. From the warm welcome at arrival to the in room dining service and the maintenance team's assistance with our AV needs, every interaction was seamless and professional.

“The Pantages is a beautiful venue. I am disabled and need to use a walker at this time, so I was very happy that the parking was close and easy to find. They also had several accommodations for disabled people, which was refreshing to find. In addition, I think you can see well no matter where you are sitting. The only negatives are the lines are long for the women’s bathrooms and to buy refreshments during the intermission. That happens wherever you go, unfortunately. If you haven’t been to the Pantages, I highly recommend it. It has that old Hollywood beauty.”

“Had a free night and were looking for something fun to do. Found a comedy night going down at The Glendale Room which was like 2 blocks away from the hotel. PERF! AND $5 a ticket!?! Can't beat that with a stick!! Such a fun cozy spot! Saw a show called Stuffed cabbage stand up with up and coming comedians. They were all fantastic!!”
“On August 16th we celebrated our daughter’s quinceñera at Adela banquet hall, everything was great from the planning up until the big day. Joseph was great to work with and great at helping us with referrals for entertainment, Photo Booth, bartending and any questions or concerns he was always readily available.
The venue was beautifully decorated, the food was definitely a hit amongst all of our guests. Claudia and Marwan the managers for the venue were very attentive to our guests and provided great hospitality for all our guests as well as helping the night run smoothly!
DJ Evolution was easy to work with and played a great variety of music. Sweet and sour bartenders were top notch mixologists.
Overall we would highly recommend Adela banquet Hall for your next special event.”

“Legacy lounge is a really chill and laid back hookah lounge with nice drink selection and good hookah. They have events which make the place tighter especially Saturdays but it’s now my favorite hookah lounge in LA when I’m out alone. Nice RnB and Soultry music. $30-$35 hookah is not a bad price either.”

“I hadn’t been to Skirball Center since I attended a memorial over two decades ago.
Wow, this place! I was here to assist with delivery of a giant display piece, and I am so impressed. You can really tell a lot about a venue from the way security and customer facing staff treat the tradesfolk. I would always want to have my events here - every single person was warm, thoughtful, and friendly.
The next day I attended the charity event as a guest and got to wander through a few of the exhibits (I’d have gone to more). Beautifully curated, and I stumbled into an absolutely gorgeous room of watercolors with the friendliest, most knowledgeable docent I’d ever encountered.
Skirball Cultural Center manages to be elegant and grand without being overwhelming. I’ll definitely be back.”

The choir meets at RoseWolff Studios, which, by the way, has a killer view of the highway — a surprisingly peaceful little I-5 oasis. Great view of the skyline too.”

“We called for towels and nothing, 1 hour we call them back but still nothing 30 minutes later call them again and they say oh really I thought they were already delivered and then they said they were gonna deliver them but 30 minutes later still nothing we called them back, but they were snappy with us. luckily someone let us use their USED towels.”
