“Very good selection of nice furniture at great prices. But maybe the most important thing is that the people there are honest. They do what they say, and say what they will do. 5 years ago we bought a houseful of furniture at great prices... fast forward to now and the 5 year old sofa had a problem. Probably because of covid I've sat on the sofa way more than normal. I contacted them, they found my original order and promptly sent out their guys for repair. We both knew the warranty was over, so it cost me a little money but they were prompt and most importantly we are sitting on a brand new sofa body. Perfect timing as our little grandson is coming over this weekend and will sleep on the sofa bed. Really nice and honest people go perfectly with great prices on cool furniture!!”

“Sofa Interiors did a great job with restuffing our existing living room sofa and replacing the creaky pullout bed with springs! Would recommend them for any upholstering and sofa services. I used the Yelp projects function to send out our ask, which was to restuff our two-seater sofa cushions, and also remove the interior pull out bed, which we hadn't used in years. Scott from Sofa interiors had a fast and thorough response, with a competitive price quote depending on our choice of foam quality and also including the price of springs. They were easy to communicate with and answered all of my questions promptly and thoroughly. They offered pick up and delivery too. Pick up with smooth, with the additional note that there was some tufting that had to be done and also upgrading the front piece which we understood and also signed off on. After giving our deposit, the sofa was off for repair. It took less than a week to finish everything! Back home, it was good as new- the cushions no longer sagged in the middle, and the bed was replaced with springs underneath for good support. We can now use our sofa for many more years to come. It was a pleasure to work with Sofa Interiors and would highly recommend them.”

“I was looking for a very specific type of bridal bouquet for my elopement, I wanted wild and whimsical, almost like I'd hand gathered from a wildflower filled hillside, with some bit of drape. I personally don't like the tight and rounded bouquets, give me wispy fairy bouquets any day! I wasn't sure if I'd find it nearby, but lo and behold doing a google search, I found Wild Stems on Beverly. Ana created the most gorgeous bouquet for my big day, and I loved it so much I decided to hang dry it as a decorative dried arrangement a few days afterwards instead of letting it die and tossing it out. “I honestly don't even know where to begin raving about my experience with Baby Jade. I was looking for a blanket for an upcoming baptism and Baby Jade was one of the first places that showed up on Yelp so I thought I would give it a shot as all the reviews were overwhelmingly positive, and boy, were they right. The shop was actually under construction when I went in, but Tammy was nice enough to let me in and show me all of her beautiful, hand-sewn wares--I was literally spoiled with choice, every single blanket (both baby and adult sized) was absolutely gorgeous, expertly made, and amazingly soft. I told her what it was for and she helped narrow down my options and I left that day deciding on a beautiful pink argyle blanket set (with the most delicate personalized stitching). Despite it being my first visit there, I left the small shop feeling like I had known Tammy for years--I don't think I've met anyone whose passion and dedication to making people happy was so overt and honest; she truly made me feel like I was so much more than a customer buying her product. Tammy was so unbelievably accommodating and worked with me and my hectic schedule--she met me (very early!!) in the morning just a couple days later to pick up the beautiful blankets, despite having a full day of activities herself and just like during my first visit to the store, I was blown away by her genuine kindness and generosity. The blanket was absolutely gorgeous and was wrapped up and ready to go and I was honestly a little sad for the whole thing to be over--THAT is how amazing my whole experience with Tammy and Darren was. I left her shop that day with the most amazing gift (as well as some beautiful scarves that she gifted me--again, unbelievably generous and warm) and I will 100% be back when it's time to get some warm blankets and scarves. I cannot recommend her enough if you are looking for a thoughtful, beautifully made gift for someone in your life and I'm so grateful I found Baby Jade on yelp!”

“Good place at this time of year to get a quality artificial tree. Very large selection. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Good prices.Located ground floor. Good parking. Handicap accessories. It's on west side of Sepulveda so with the traffic on that street it's best if your traveling south for easier entry to their lot. If your going north you'll have to cross 3 lanes of very heavy traffic.”

“I cant believe that Ive been coming to this store for like 7 years and it FINALLY DAWNED ON ME TO WRITE A REVIEW??! This store is soooo elegant and FULL of splendor and amazing curated vintage and modern pieces. It reminds me of a high end box of chocolates where the box and wrapping and ribbon is so elegant that you feel guilty for eating the candy lol. This place is my guilty pleasure. The decadence comes from the decor and selection but the sweetness comes from the staff. Its a small staff but they work hard to help you find what you are looking for and what you didnt even know you needed in your wardrobe! lol. The owners Marie and Ian are very kind and down to earth and have treated me so well all these years. I am truly grateful to them for helping my little collection of awesome vintage grow. “Such a vibe. So many fun things to look at and buy! You'll want to hang out all day... It brought me back to my teens in the 80's shopping at Venice Beach and Melrose. Love the plant selection and hand crafted goodies.”

“After Necromance, sadly, closed their brick and mortar shop, there was a brief period in time where their combination of taxidermy and Victoriana was no where to be seen. I'm a big fan of Gold Bug in Pasadena, but they are not quite as "dark" in their aesthetic. Memento Mori, on the other hand, feels like a pretty good replacement. So, what are you going to find here? Well, as you may have guessed from my intro, taxidermy. The classic boars and deer heads preserved as wall ornaments...but also delicate butterflies beautifully arranged under glass domes. While no where near as extensive a collection of preserved animal parts as Necromance, there still is a decent collection, particularly for decor. Memento Mori also lacks the strong mothball smell that permeated the aforementioned store. There is a large collection of silver jewelry incorporating classic taxidermy elements, such as glass eyes. And lots of trinkets for those of a "gothic" aesthetic. They also carry a number of very comfortable tshirts bearing variations of their logo, one of which currently hangs in my closet. Memento Mori also appears to serve as a gothic community center: they always have flyers and posters advertising events such as Endless Night, a vampire-themed ball, or gothic-themed fairs for artisans. So, definitely worth a visit if your aesthetics or predilections lean to the darker side of life.”

“I brought 2 non functional lamps. One just needed a tightening and the other needed a new socket. The repairs were done promptly. Perhaps a bit pricey but one must pay for knowledge . I will bring them another lamp as soon as I find it in the garage!”
