“My wife and I have been looking for a great Butcher in the Los Angeles area. We saw that STANDINGS had great reviews and so we decided to purchase some ground sausage for a special occasion from there and found it very well priced. They filled our order almost immediately and sent it on its way for delivery. Kelly gave us a call and she was such a joy to speak with and she gave us some extra sausage to try since it was our first time at STANDINGS. We will definitely be ordering from here regularly!”

“I don't get to visit often due to my work schedule, but my day is instantly better when I start it with a bag of biltong. EDSK is always welcoming and provides the highest quality.”

“I ordered 6 steaks online for a small catering gig I'm doing. Initially, I only received 3 steaks. I called the store, and they immediately made it right by resending the entire order and added 2 more for the mistake. The meat came on time and is fabulous as always. 10/10 would reorder”

“I have to be honest I’m not sure where these reviews came from. The food is excellent, but the service especially from that lady was very subpar. She seemed very irritated with every moment of any kind of interaction this is my fifth time here with the same experience every time. I felt like I had to apologize to ask for anything. Great steaks though.”

“El Bandero Butcher is an excellent source of high-quality meat products. I just visited this butcher store and was pleasantly surprised by their assortment of fresh and locally produced meats. The staff was knowledgeable and polite, and they were able to make excellent recommendations for meat cuts to use in my dishes. The pricing were cheap as well, and the service was timely. El Bandero Butcher is highly recommended to everyone in the neighborhood looking for high-quality meat products.”

“Best butcher shop in LA. Great selection, super knowledgeable staff, really friendly. Everything is fresh! I get all my beef, chicken, and pork from here.

They make great sandwiches too. I also recommend their chimichurri.”

“Got the Green chorizo here really good but has a good amount of heat. If your making it for the kids that don't like takis. There mouths are going to burn some. Good selection of tortillas too doesnt look like they make in house but the ones there were fresh looking. One thing that was the most annoying thing was the door chime. The whole time I was like some one answer that phone! I will still come back for that chorizo though”

“I grew up in Germany and this place has many of the things I learned to live without over the years. They have a great little deli section with all the basics, not comparable with the spread of products you’d find at a contemporary deli (Metzgerei) in Germany but definitely enough to get you Wurst-fix.

Their Fleischkäse is really good and the sandwiches are only $7 at the time of writing. Not only are they huge but they also come with a side of salad (potato salad, Fleischsalat, etc.) Of course you’ll also find all sorts of candies and other comestibles there. I really like the place!”

“Louie had amazing customer service. He helped me with an online order I placed over a month ago. As well as printed out my order & explained how my order was ready the day I picked for pick up. He also stayed on the phone with me until I found the place. Amazing customer service thank you again for going out your way to help me.”

“We were starving and were looking for something good, new, and of courselocal. Every time we were passed to this small business and never had a chance to try Armin meat and Deli products. Finally we had a chance to try it.Very nice and clean store. Everything we were looking for was on the shelves and refrigerator s. They had variety of BBQ marinated meat, chicken and pork. The amazing part is that they make their own brand delicatessens, and deli meats and sausages. The cold cuts and sausages are Persian style. Staffs were helpful, they helped us during our visit. They have Persian style sandwiches, yey we don't need to drive to Glendale or Burbank when we are craving for Persian style sandwiches anymore. One of their favorite sandwiches is cheese and sausage, so we ordered 2 of those and pound of marinated pork rib, chicken brest, and tri tip meat to bbq at home.THEY NAILED IT! The sandwich was super tasty perfect. Usually after Persian deli or sausage sandwiches you are thirsty for whol day but with their sandwiches it didn't happen to my husband and me. The sandwich size was huge, we didn't eat dinner because we were full. The next day we do the BBQ, we loved it. The marinating was really good and exact amount(Persian style”

“Berel was a huge help on our trip to Los Angeles. We came into town 2 hours before shabbos and the entire shabbos including paper goods and magazines was waiting for us in our place!! Lifesaver! And the food was delicious!! Thank you Berel!”

“Ziggy's is well known for their chorizo, best around. Their prices are definitely high and I only go for pounds of chorizo. YES, I wait in line, it's worth it. The 1 star ratings are ridiculous, mostly people upset that it didn't "meet their expectations". This place has a large variety of meats. I can only speak for the chorizo: My cousin and I drive from Pomona to get chorizo from Ziggy's. We grew up in SanFer, we've never had better chorizo than Ziggy's. I love this place.”

“I loved the meat. Fresh and deliciously marinated. I personally love the authentic local experience of having meat grilled in the backyard of the market. Customers are all local families who came and picked up food continuously. Reasonable priced and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Review 2: ok Im obsessed w this place so I came back. Got quite a lot this time to try out. I love my chicken, beef, fish ceviche, and spicy shrimp cucumber salad, and hot links (pork blood sausage). I asked the chef to grill the beef medium rare and it was perfecto! The chicken was the star. OMG! It was juicy, soft and chewy, and delicious! The hot links was interesting as it tastes similar to blood sausage in Vietnam (my country). The staff was afraid that I didnt know it was blood so he made sure I understood it and went out to ask the chef to grill it well for me. 12/10 for the food and friendliness!”

“I visit from the New York area and this is by far THE BEST butcher shop anywhere! Unbelievable selection of fine meats and specialties. Helpful professional staff and by far the best beef jerky you can get. Wish I lived here so I could go here for my meats but it is a MUST DO every time I visit the area.”

“Guerrero Market has terrific food! Tacos and tamales are $2.50 each, and the tacos are loaded with meat. Tamales were delicious as well - would definitely come back and order en masse for Christmas. Everything comes with green salsa, which was good enough that I'd drink it straight. Also ordered a cup of champurrado ($2.50 as well), which was yummy -- though too sweet for me to order again. Definitely a great hole-in-the-wall. There's three small tables in store if you want to dine in. There's a small dedicated lot for parking. Not many high traffic businesses in the plaza, so it's an easy time.”

“Great quality meats with one of the friendliest lady behind the counter! Store itself is small, but has enough variety and cuts to satisfy most kbbq cravings. They also sell rice paper, radish wrap slices, lettuce, perilla leaves, ssam sauce, sambal sauce, and chadol (aka brisket) sauce. You can also call ahead to place an order, and their hours are 10-7pm per the photo lol”

“This is one of the truly great kosher shops in The West. Yisrael and his staff have an appreciation of their craft and their customers and serve finest quality product with an expertise unmatched in ordinary markets of any description. Just be courteous and patient while they serve the person before you - especially as the Sabbath or Holidays approach!”

“Love the butcher counter, where you can also get custom sandwiches, a daily hot meal, breakfast burritos, and salads. They also cater. It's also a good place for a quick shopping trip. The staff are always friendly. Oh, and I can't forget BBQ Saturday, rain or shine.”

“Great quality meat. Prices are better than what I’ve seen at the meat counters of the nearby Korean markets. The service was exceptional and the ahjussi owner was so kind. I felt like he went above and beyond in helping me. They even have brisket sauce that tastes like the sauces at Korean BBQ restaurants. If you are local and want to buy meat for homemade hot pot or Korean BBQ, I recommend shopping for your meat here.”
