“Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. We arrived on time for the appointment and were taken back to the treatment room, but then were not seen, while other pets were seen. When I checked back in with the front desk, they appeared to not know who we were, when our appointment was, or when or if we would be seen. Bad all around.
UPDATE: This issue was promptly--and graciously--resolved with a follow up appointment the following day and free exam. It is refreshing for a veterinary practice to acknowledge and address a concern so quickly and directly. We will be returning.”
“Fortunate to have this vet urgent care in Santa Monica. I was able to walk in Sunday morning when my dog had an ear infection. The staff & vet Dr. Hinchey were kind and caring. Medical treatment was comprehensive and reasonable priced (for the area). I really felt good leaving, knowing that my dog was well taken care of, treatment plan in place with a follow up scheduled.
I’ve been here a few times for urgent care over the years, as well as some other ER vets in the area, Dr. Hinchey is a gem!”

“I have been taking my cats and dogs to Dr Mohan for a very long time. He’s been so kind and understanding and knowledgeable in the care and health of my pets. “I took my dog here because they were the closest vets who could do a BAER test on a 2 year old pup who we suspected was shard of hearing for a long time. The vet was honest and mentioned if we suspect something, he probably has it and let us decide if we wanted to spend money or not. For the longest time we didn't think we needed testing until our dog started becoming aggressive towards other dogs with no warning and behaviorists recommended that we get him checked to know for sure and understand what's scaring him, so we just did it. We had NO idea he was 100% deaf, and now everything makes sense! The staff were all very friendly and attentive, they treated my dog very well, and he didn't even need sedation. I also really appreciated the transparency of pricing and everything before we decided to go ahead with the test. This test has changed everything and we are so thankful we went to this clinic.”

With several of my dogs. She has done an amazing job And her staff is very warm and friendly. Both my dogs are currently 16 years old and doing well and if they have an issue, she always gets them in as needed. Her facility is clean and they always explain things very clearly. “Coming from our last place this vet is SO much more convenient in terms of travel time and cost. The time taken with our cats (attention to detail, helpful information, tips, answers to questions) were very much appreciated, and while we weren’t there for an overly long amount of time, it felt like a very complete visit with an exceedingly competent staff. Both the techs and Dr Afshar handled our cats with care and skill, and we were given very helpful information on how to handle the weight gain of our chunkier-than-ideal cat who is already an active girl.
A sign that makes me excited to continue coming back to this vet was how they recommended brushing our cats’ teeth—sounds silly but our previous vet didn’t mention it at all and we weren’t aware it was a thing (we learn something new every day!)—and this to me, shows that they aren’t just there to get the payment of future dental cleanings, but actually care about our cats’ overall wellbeing.
The exam room was also exceedingly adorable, the purple platforms on the wall for cats to jump up on really delighted me, and even though our cats weren’t exactly in a jumping mood, they did seem to at least tolerate (if not enjoy) being put up there while we waited between providers coming in.”
“I had an emergency with my dog and was not near his usual vet, I called Sherman Oaks Vet and they told me I could come in right away. When I got there everyone was very kind and patient with me, while I freaked out. I had to leave my dog overnight, which I've never done before, but he was definitely in good hands. Dr. Lockhart was great and I am so thankful for him. All the staff was awesome.”

Dr. Ahmad is always so happy to discuss the intricacies of my dog's health issues and thoroughly explain all of the options available for her. I feel like I learn so much when I'm there and nothing is ever forced on me.I'm also always shocked at the affordability when it comes time to pay, which is a nice change from the shock you get at corporate animal hospitals :] I've also never had to wait more than 5 minutes after appointment time. Lupe, the Senior Health Certificate Coordinator, and Dr. Nassi, the owner and medical director, are professional, kind, considerate, and polite. Although we haven’t yet taken our dog, Kona, for her appointment, we eagerly anticipate our visit on February 12, 2026. “I have taken many pets to Leo and Eva for years. They have always taken great care of me and my animals. They saved my Frenchie's life when she was a puppy. She was choking on food, and literally on the brink of passing. I rushed over, and they took her back right away. They've helped me care for my animals from when they are puppies and kittens, to when my babies get old, and it's time for them to cross Rainbow Bridge. Sometimes they do get super swamped, and may not answer the phone; and sometimes they have had to close early for personal reasons. But Leo has always been great in communicating, and always takes care of my fur babies. They are also very reasonably priced compared to other clinics / vets, especially the corporate places that usually just care about your money. Thank you so much for all you do, Leo & Eva!!”
“Panorama Pet Hospital is a place that you can depend on. They truly care for your pet. Very friendly, accommodating staff with professional Dr’s who tend to your pets needs. My dogs don’t run from that front door when they enter it as they have others in the past. They’re even relaxed in the waiting room. Dr Gupta is our vet. She’s extremely smart and very thorough in her analysis. She’s patient, listens and answers all questions that we may have. I highly recommend this place. We are extremely happy and it’s definitely worth our 20 minute drive.”

“We have gone to Best Friends for over 15 years and they have been wonderful. Dr. Heim and Dr. West are extraordinary vets. Kind , compassionate and a credit to the field. We have gone for monthly shots for the last 2 years and the vet tech’s have always been just wonderful with our blind little girl. We had to put down our beloved angel this weekend and Dr.West went out of his way to make it happen in the kindest way possible. I’m forever grateful for all of the kindness’s the staff has given us with our aging pups and willingness to work with us in navigating their care.”
