“A local institution and treasure trove! It’s somehow both cozy and seemingly endless. I particularly enjoyed the aisle of culinary books, which covered just about every topic and author I was interested in, stretching a long ways from one end of the shop to another and reached literally to the ceiling. The fiction section is massive, too. The prices are also shockingly reasonable.”

“I’m a big fan of Taschen and so happy to see this store here! Even though it’s small, you’ll find lots of amazing publications. I’d love to buy them all, especially the architecture and design are fantastic, but the erotica section has a certain charm too. The staff is super friendly. The store has its own entrance, so you can find it easily.”

They have every Korean language textbook you can think of like TTMIK,Sogang,Yonsei,and much more!
Plus, they have YA English novels in Korean like Harry Potter, Twilight, and Hunger Games.
They have a small manga and manhwa section completely in Korean, and I bought a BL manga.
If you cant find anything in-store you can order on their website or the kind owner will order it for you!

I needed a TOPIK prep book and with the closure of the beloved Aladdin Bookstore, I came here instead!
Boy am I glad I did! I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of options.
The owner narrowed it down, and I purchased the one he suggested!
It's perfect!
The price was affordable compared to online retailers!
I perused their site and saw they had Jujutsu Kaisen manga translated to Korean available!
I may purchase manga and manhwa here in the future!”

There's also a section in the back for fantasy and children's books, a section in front with baby books, and an adorable reading nook that has news article clippings about the owner. They also have a cute mini print machine at the front of the store, but it required quarters so I unfortunately wasn't able to try it.”

“After a disappointing stop at Book Soup, discovering this bookstore felt like stumbling into a hidden paradise. Tucked away down a series of narrow passageways and nestled inside an unassuming little house, it is the kind of place you could easily walk past without realizing the extraordinary treasures waiting inside.
The collection is nothing short of remarkable. Shelves are filled with rare books, first editions, signed copies, and literary gems, each carrying its own fascinating history. Every corner invites exploration, and every book seems to have a story beyond the one printed on its pages.
What made the visit truly unforgettable, however, were the two proprietors. They were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and generous with their time. They happily indulged my endless curiosity as I asked to see Kurt Vonnegut’s and Charles Bukowski’s signed books more times than I can count, and they shared fascinating stories about their collection with genuine enthusiasm.
I could have spent the entire day browsing, listening to their stories, and admiring the incredible selection. This is far more than a bookstore, it is a destination for anyone who loves literature, history, and the joy of discovering something truly special. It was easily one of the highlights of my trip, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.”
