“I started coming to this scout shop when my son first joined Cub Scouts. We came into the store and tried on all the things took some pictures and the leaders there are so helpful and kind. Now that I am on the awards chair for one of our Cub Scout packs, I have to do big orders of belt, loops, and patches and things. Cindy is incredibly helpful with this and making a busy parent’s life easier. The scout shop is well kept and clean. They can help sew on patches right here on site in real-time which has been proven to be a huge help when it comes to our busy schedules at home and extracurriculars. Thank you valley scout shop team!”
“I have been a part of this program since 1980 when my oldest child joined. It teaches leadership, values and a host of new hobbies. The outdoor experience and adventure is among the greatest for kids, and their parents. Scouting is about friendship, fun, adventure, leadership, outdoor skills and life skills. This is a trustworthy and reliable program for every kid, no exceptions.”
“It’s already my second year in the academy day program. My time in this community has helped me to grow in many ways, and I truly appreciate the staff who have always been consistently gentle, patient, and understanding — their support has made a real difference. At the same time, there have been challenges with communication and consistency among some staff members, which can be difficult for participants who have social, communication, or sensory differences. These moments sometimes lead to misunderstandings or frustration, and I hope the program can continue to address these areas so that all participants feel supported and heard. Overall, I do value what I’ve learned here and hope this feedback helps make the program even more inclusive and supportive for everyone.”
