“UPDATE: Sam from Kobe moving reached out to me to make things right. He handled the $50 deposit and refunded some of the costs of the moving supplies. Didn’t expect him to reach out and appreciate the company working on keeping customers happy.
I used Kobe moving to just load a PODS container for me. I was originally quoted $139/hr 3 hr minimum for 3 movers. Should have been fine to get that done in that time. I also asked about moving supplies and asked if it would be cheaper for me just to source, and he assured me they could handle it and would keep it cheap. The move went fine. They ended up taking about 4 hrs, would have loved to finish in 3 but fine. They then charged me $500 for moving supplies. I did need to keep some moving blankets since I was putting everything in the pod and storing it, but over $500 for some TV boxes, tape, bubble wrap and used furniture blankets is crazy. I did tip the movers cause they were good enough. After the fact I remembered that they also charged me a $50 deposit that never was credited against. So what amounted to about $1200, should have been a $700 1 bed POD loading. Just be careful if you use them and get all costs up front.”

“Yes, you want to book them. I would use again. From the beginning I was shocked at how accommodating and fast these people were! Shout out to Carlos, Juan, and Angel. They worked their butts off to make sure we got the move done right and done FAST. We ended up having so much stuff which caused us to take two trips in their 27 ft truck. That’s the only frustrating part since we were under impression we could fit everything one round. But it worked out in the end and the team was very great.”

“I have used college men movers twice over the years. I had a great experience each time. They were very professional and took their time moving things so my furniture was not damaged. I left my belongings in their storage for some time without paying them (I didn't have the money to pay the storage amount, I understand that's on me.) My belongings were suctioned or sold I guess. It would have been great if someone would have called me to let me know...hey all of your property is about to be auctioned. But again I take responsibility for that since I didn't pay the bill. I lost alot of family photos, I think that is what bothered me most. Anyways, I gave them 5 stars because they did a good job with the move. I didn't want to take away from that. I lost my stuff because I didn't pay the money. I would think that it could be great if the owners could save photo albums though. It doesn't hold value for some else but the photos really meant a lot to me. That's my only piece of feedback.”

“This location was faced with an issue the morning of my rental. The website overbooked their vehicles, which was out of their control. They were exceptionally apologetic and reconciliatory to the customers and worked hard to set things right. When it came time to collect my truck, the UHaul representative working with me went outside to inspect the bed and discovered that it was still covered in wood chipping from the previous user. He made sure to take it to the maintenance area and clean it before I took it. The crew was exceptionally professional and good natured.
Unlike the other customers, I really like the fact that there is very little parking on-site. There are four different bus routes that go by this shop, and wise customers would take heed to take LA Metro or the Panorama City Van Nuys DASH bus to get there. It's also a quick hop away from the Van Nuys train station. You couldn't ask for a better transit location.”
“I've used them twice now. Both times they were on time, quick and gave us a good/fair price. The firs time the carefully maneuvered around our furniture to remove a sectional and the second time they removed a ton of junk we placed in our driveway and did a great job cleaning up. Also very courteous!”
“I have only had good experiences here. I have had a storage unit here now for 3 years and the prices are better than anywhere else. And they have only increased the prices over the 3 years very minimally. The help I have received from the guys in the office has been great. They also rent various size Uhauls for very reasonable prices. My only complaint is their hours of operation but it's no secret, you know the hours before you rent the unit so you're aware from the beginning...”

“I have used D&L Movers two times and they were fantastic for both moves. They are extremely professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them for any of your moving needs. I used them to move my whole family from Santa Clara, CA to Gilroy CA and move my mother from San Jose to a Adult Care facility in San Jose. They were fairly priced and did a great job packing up our home and relocating it and unpacking our furniture and re-assembling as needed.
