βStaff is very nice. Though I haven't required too much advice while shopping here, the staff seem helpful and knowledgeable. They do have a variety of most products. However, there was one ot two instances where they carried similar parts but not the one or the size I needed.β
βI had trouble initially trying to get online information regarding the status of my package delivery. The email I sent, however, was answered immediately and the much awaited bulb arrived shorty thereafter. I assign the stars to the representative who made this work. The ability to get through to the company regarding online customer inquiries is in great need for improvement.β
βI called inquiring about a copper fitting. The attendant on phone actually asked to be placed on hold to make sure it was in stock. It was confirmed. Though driving to there, I haven't visited the area post burnt surroundings. Of course I saw the news outlet pictures, but seeing the aftermath just broke my heart. But my experience in the store was great.efficient, professional, and just pleasure to see all there beaming smiling faces. β₯οΈβ
βI would like to give a big shoutout to Benjamin and Alec! I am a total noob when it comes to building things and am planning on building a banquette. Benjamin went out of his way to help me regarding the wood and find additional help on my questions and Alec was very knowledgeable about how to build things and gave great tips! I highly rec this place!β
βWe love our neighborhood hardware store! I just found out you can order online from Emil's...I wish I'd known this sooner, I could have saved a few trips to the dreaded Home Depot.
Emil's has a shockingly good selection, and their online shop has options for pick-up in store or delivery, and if they're out of stock they will ship things to the store for you which we appreciate.

βThey had a close replica of the light bulbs I needed to replace and were quick to respond and ship! I was a little concerned about the packaging but the bulbs were pretty sturdy and everything worked out great.β

βI have been a huge fan of Harbor freight as a company for a very long time. The quality of the tools continues to improve while the prices remain very reasonable.
This particular store is very similar to most other so cal locations. It offers a wide variety of Tools and other Chinese made goodies. Unfortunately, most of the California locations that I have been to all seem to employ people with very poor customer service. At this location it feels like the employees are jaded. At first I thought that maybe they were just having a bad day, but nope. I have been here dozens of times and they still seem very cold and dismissiveβ
βI have a project to do checked all around for a paint shop with a Pantone book dating no one had it they did the gentleman's name ismax he took care of me and it's an asset to the companyβ

βWhat a wonderful place! It goes way beyond the usual hardware store. It's a museum in itself and worth your time just to see the beautiful craftsmanship of the antique door knobs and every manner of hardware. It's a trip into the past in a good way!β

βBeen coming here for years for my expendibles and fog machine rentals. I also saved up money to have a custom on set cart built. It was worth every penny. These guys are always quick to answer and react when you need something. They are also one of the few places to get a 12' wide rolls of seamless.β

I have gone in many times over the past 2 years of living in the area and every single time they are helpful, kind, genuinely want to help and do it all with a smile. From replacing glass on a vintage frame to cutting a litter box so my senior pet can still use the potty, they are the best!! Go here if you need anything for your life/home!β

βOverall I come here very often for materials for my projects. Everyone has always been helpful. Parking is a bit of a struggle with a truck due to tight size. Overall everyone is nice. Looking at other reviews that are negative I have never felt mistreated here. Prices are a bit hire for some things like lumber. But you are in middle of the city. To be honest I could drive further to get my lumber or tools but sometimes it is just convenient.β

βFirst time at this hardware store. For being in the middle of Santa Monica, they carry a wide selection of products in their store. I just went in there for some tack cloth. I will definitely be going back there if I'm working in the area.
There is no home depot or Lowe's anywhere near there.β

βHey guys! Just left Hirsch Pipe & Supply in Lawndale. I read Home Depot and Lowe’s don’t sell the best bathroom fixtures, to go to a supply store. Hirsch was close and had great reviews. I know why! Marco and Kevin were Awesome! They answered all of my questions (no attitude, not condescending) and even spoke to my plumber on the phone to make sure I purchased the right product.
