My experience included perusing all of the yummy goodies to eat, to drink, to buy and enjoying delicious coffee on their lovely patio. I was impressed with the variety and high quality of the take-away food, the selection of fairly priced wines and spirits, and the thoughtfully chosen gift items - lots of local California goods sustainably produced. I was also completely enamored with the unique custom bouquets created by Sofaisy Designs in the flower studio. Soooo beautiful!
A bonus - the market is super pet friendly. Bring in a pooch and he or she (or both) will be honorably placed on the special dog featured wall (pic attached)!
The two dog lovin’ owners of The Canal Market are sisters. Together Gabriella and Sofia have created a warm and joyful space where it’s obvious they love making their customers happy. Check out their website - they do all kinds of special events, pop-ups, wine tastings.

I bought one bottle of Naturally and vegan wine.I didn't have any kind of info about vegan wine. But the staff's nature is very helpful and kind.They figure me out for this. “Mini Mart steps from the beach, which is a local's favorite! You can find numerous grocery items! Always friendly! Always wonderful to see everyone! Grateful Nick's is near whenever I want snacks, fruit & sometimes a bottle of wine to take to a neighbor's get together! I've been coming here for years, as it's nearby & a short walk away! Nick's has a huge selection of refrigerated drinks: water, juice, wine, as well as alcohol. Also, a huge selection of non-refrigerated wine/alcohol. Yum: My favorite snacks here include: Talenti Pistachio Gelato, Ritter Sport Chocolate Bars, Flamin' Hot Cheetos Trail Mix & Hershey's Bar w/almonds! And on the fruity side, bananas!Personality Plus: The guys are so cool here, along with easy conversation! Always a smile & usually plenty of laughs whenever I stop by; good vibes!”

“Wow, love this spot. This place is great for anyone avoiding alcohol and loves a cocktail! Their products are super clean & high quality. My favorite ready made cocktail is the Optimist botanical. When I was pregnant I’d drink these and feel all fancy. Can’t wait to come back and try some of their alcohol free spirits. You really don’t need to be sober to enjoy these fine spirits. Foodies welcomed”
