“the Bank is great. Really great service at the bank. But the Phone service use to be great but I recently had to use it a few times and they seem to be lacking knowledge and haven't been able to help me. They need to do a better job on the phone and gain more experience. Other there gonna end up losing me as a customer. I needed help and I went to the bank to ask for help but they told me to call customer service. Then they couldn't help and they blamed the office so which is it. I'm guessing the phone service is to blame. Train them right Rabobank or me and if this is happening to others they will leave too.”

They are personable, just a different experience, like you have a friend- banker. I know that they offer neat mortgage programs like 0 down with no PMI or mortgage for people with ITIn numbers.”

“I needed a checking account and made it to this bank 2 hours before they were to close. Unfortunately, the three staff members of this Bank could not help me open a basic checking account even though I was the only customer. I made an appointment for the next day and came in at the designated time. Even though I had a valid California state driver's license and a large cash initial deposit, they were still unable to create a basic checking account for me. I sat in a chair and waited for a corporate response from Francisco's inquiry, but none came within 20 minutes, and I was told to to leave and that I would get a call and be able to finish the process as soon as that email response came through from corporate. After 4 days, I am giving up and writing off this Bank as a waste of my time.
UPDATE: Luckily, an angel stepped in to help me with my banking woes and I received a call from this Bank. Turns out, they are paying attention and they do care. Now that the third party snag is over, perhaps I'll be back in business after tomorrow's meeting! Yay for locally-owned banks.”

“I recently opened up a new checking account with Orlando at this ventura branch on Main Street by target. At first I didn't know the huge changes that applied at first due from last years situation when you could go into a branch back in the days and cash it no problem from the check being from that bank on the check to cash it with no problem for a certain amount. But the situation on banking business changed. With that said myself having a huge family in the ventura county area Orlando happened to know my close family members by the name after speaking with him abit and a small world it is. He went out of his way for me and he did a incredible job explaining the in and out changes now that applied and got me in and out quickly with a breeze. If your looking for great customer services by a veteran in the banking industry definitely go see Orlando and make your appointment online with Orlando at this U.S. Bank in ventura you won't be disappointed at all. “I'm truly shocked by the number of people that think the bank should stay open for them as they arrive at closing time or even a minute or two after. Grow up folks and leave 5 minutes early.
That said, the branch does need more staff for people who walk in without an appointment. The wait time today was a ridiculous 45 minutes. I'm not making an appointment to report credit card fraud when I'm a block away from the branch. Otherwise no issues.”

“Not impressed so far.....I opened up a business checking and savings account at the end of 9/2024. It was for a promotional offer for both accounts. The business banker who opened it for me made mistakes that have resulted in not getting the promo offers. It has taken months to have this resolved. The other business banker Angel, opened a case on my behalf, but I couldn't get a response from him about the status. He seems to be on the phone making calls out to most likely bring in business; however, he doesn't service his existing clientele with professionalism or follow through. I am working with a new business banker to resolve the issues, so I hope I will get the offers I signed up for. I gave 2 stars because the tellers have been great, very helpful, and efficient in forwarding my messages, but they can only do so much. The manager is also nice and helpful, but he should speak to his employee about improving his retention with existing business banking clients. Here is an update from my experience. It took some time and work from the manager and a new business banker (Ray), but they were able to straighten out the mistakes that were made, and I was able to finally get the promotional bonuses to my account.”
