“GETTING HERE: This Dollar Tree is located in Ventura on Telegraph next to the Smart & Final EXTRA (the old Albertson's). It's in the same strip mall area as CVS and Two Trees. There's ample parking; usually not too much of a hassle to park.REVIEW: I love this Dollar Tree! Yes, the new name should be changed to "Dollar and a Quarter Tree", but alas. Such is life. I've frequented many over the years and this is my favorite hands down. It's common to see it pretty packed with customers waiting in line. But that's what you get when you shop now a days. This store is large and spacious and the aisles are spaced out. The staff have been nothing but pleasant and helpful and don't harass you (can I help you?) as you shop. I'm a fan and will go out of my way to shop at this location compared to others in the county. :)”

“This store has great cell phone accessories, chargers & ear buds. I luv the T shirts against the wall. Great selection on kids stuff. Its budget friendly & perfect for those upcoming gift exchange/ secret Santa gifts or informal gifts for the workplace! Be mindful that not all items are $5 below they can go as high as $20.”

“3.5 stars would be more accurate. In general, I like the 99 (cent) stores the best of the dollar store chains. This location seems to feel semi-dirty. Not the store's fault but it tends to attract more homeless people. The parking lot has been redone several years ago so that has really helped the ghetto feeling situation. Their produce can still look on the verge of spoiling, but at least it's available. There are sometimes good brand-name deals on cold foods and drinks. You can really score some good deals here. and of course this is not a 99c only Dollar store. It's more of a discount and bargain finds store. Similar to Ross discount finds. If you enjoy random bargain finds, this is a good place.”
“I teach a preschool class at my kids co-op and I come here regularly to buy things for crafts and other sensory activities. They have a lot of great stuff for teaching or just for fun. I have also purchased balloons from here. Most things are just one $1 although I have seen some things are $1.25. They also have a lot of other household items, decorations, toys, book and snacks. For the most part I would say things are organized. I appreciate the low prices and the fact that they have different things for every holiday. This last visit they had a lot of things for Easter. Service is good depending on who rings you up. There's an older Asian lady that's really nice.”
