“I'm not from around here but we came to visit family stopped here to buy food for a carne asada. Meat Costillas and chicken was really good veggie were good but a little pricey compared to Aldi. Will come again for the meats but not the veggies.”
“Really good chorizo, best in Ventura county. For grilling, the best. Today there was a lady who made my marinade for my carne asada, but it wasn’t prepared the same way the usual guys do. So I minused one star. Bros- teach the señora the proper marinade. The meat was muy seca today.”

“I frequently buy at this store because of its quality of product, mainly its very fresh, quality meat and good service. I constantly recommend it to friends. Unfortunately, on Sunday I went at 7:00 pm to buy 7 pounds of northern rib, I asked for it marinated as usual, but The man who served me on this occasion gave me terrible service, very rude, saying bad words in a low voice, annoyed by marinating the meat and I say annoyed because he only added seasoning powder, which never happens, my meat is always juicy and well marinated and now that was it. “Stopped in real quick after getting my pedicure next door. Bought some chips and a few other things. Good customer service . Lots of Mexican items . Will be back to check out their meat selection . Not busy as I went on a weekday during early afternoon . Looks clean and organized. I always appreciate a neighborhood carnicería. I don't usually buy meat at regular grocery stores. I mostly stick to my Mexican markets. I am happy to have discovered this one on a self care day!”
“Bueno lo primero que voy a opinar es que el personal de está tienda es muy amable pero en el precio de varios productos están muy elevados ya que al comparar ahí en la misma tienda es un precio con algunos centavos menos pero con la misma marca así que si necesitas algo de urgencia es buena opción pero sabiendo que va a costar un poco mas”
“My husband and I love the fresh, hot turkey carnitas from their deli. It's mainly the only reason why we shop there. We will be ordering a couple of pounds for Thanksgiving. It's especially become our annual tradition. It's also an excellent alternative and very economical to preparing an entire turkey for a small family! The most difficult thing for me to remember is to be there prior to 7p.m.; as afterwards they begin to do their deep cleaning prior to closing for the night. I can appreciate the updated atmosphere with the inclusion new tables. Even though I don't speak Spanish, the staff are always friendly and helpful.
The only thing that I don't like is that the non deli lines have been insanely long and difficult to navigate around in the evenings and on weekends. I'm a wheelchair user. I've often been frustrated that those lanes are generally closed when the signs indicate that they should always be open.”

“Exceptionally clean, friendly knowledgeable staff. I got two different cuts of steak. Rib Eye and Sirloin square. They were both delicious. My rib eye was one of the best I’ve ever had. I normally go to Santa Barbara Lazy Acres butcher. This is better and easier.”
