“I still LOVE Vons on Thompson. I have been shopping here for nearly 25 years. I LOVE the employees. They are friendly, welcoming, helpful, and greet me with kindness and familiarity.Shopping at Vons with the app on my phone is an absolute MUST! First of all the more you shop, the more rewards you earn. You can earn $10 + off your groceries. This always makes me smile. Hubby loves the gas rewards at Chevron. I love the weekly free items that I can get using the app. Some of the items I received for free, I have never tried before. We have been buying some of these brands over and over. We love the deli! I like the chicken tenders and the bowtie pesto pasta. Hubby likes the ham sliced to order and the fried chicken.We also love the produce section and the meat department. The meat department will help you find the meat if it isn't out on display. They will also give cooking and seasoning advice. My favorite thing right now is the stuffed boneless chicken for $5 each. This is my go-to purchase when I want to buy something healthy and I lack time for preparation.The produce department is awesome. My neighbor, Eric, works there. He will always help me find items like Sundried tomatoes, jackfruit, etc. He is so kind!!!When the new weekly ad comes out, I always search for what is the item for Throwback Savings. I am grateful for the discounts.I love the management and all of the staff.P.S. On 20% alcohol discount days, you can preorder wine or 750 ml. alcohol and they will save it for you.”

“I love this Vons! Aside from it being so close to my house everyone is always so helpful. I've got the "blondes"(as I refer to them) in the morning/daytime and I've got the night manager who was my cashier last night..Jason. He's always been great. And I love the meat department's girl Julie Acuff she has helped me on numerous times and I really appreciate her help. I really do like all the staff here! “I come here regularly to pick up household items and other things I need from time to time. They sometimes have good deals, so keep an eye for those. They have everything from electronics, household items, food, clothes, toys or pretty much anything you can think of. The one thing that is unfortunate is that most of their employees are not as friendly. Except the ladies that greet you as you walk in our check your receipt, those ladies are so friendly!”

“Hi there Ventura!!! I lived in Ventura for 20 years. I just want to tell you I love this Vons store. I especially love the Deli in this store. If you go to the Deli ask foe Tobi. All the staff is great, but Tobi is my favorite person. Tobi always has a smile and a kind word for everyone. My husband and I purposely drive out of our way just to go to this Vons. So when your in this area in Ventura stop by the Vons deli and ask for Tobi!”

“The hours are good, one of the few places in Ventura that stays open past 6 pm in case you need benadryl cream for a rash, vodka at a decent price, shampoo, or a snack or two. This store has its own parking lot with entrances off Seaward and Jordan Avenue. The store really pushes the self-serve checkout unless you are buying alcohol because a live person must then check id.”

He has assisted me with finding items and his AM Laura was very sweet with me when I was having issues finding a product. I would most definitely come get my sundries from here moving forward. The avenue is changing and it's changing for the better....”

“I love shopping here. I was always hesitant that I'd get lower quality products than Ralph's or Vons and I was absolutely wrong! With inflation, my receipts are always lower than Ralph's or Vons. The produce is better, sweeter, fresher, juicier...I never get a rotten onion and they actually cause me to cry...Vons, Ralph's, and Sprouts do not ever. They have the most flavorful garlic...Ralph's, Vons, and Sprouts no garlic scent or flavor. Avocados are different and silky smooth. I LOVE LIVE LOVE their Deli and meat displays they have everything and it isn't choice meat either...you can see the marbeluzatiin in their meats. Everything you need is here at a fraction of everywhere else. The downside is you bag your own groceries, but it's ok there is no rush. My new favorite grocery store.”
