“Gay is amazing. My partner has always struggled shopping for a bikini because her large top size, and Gay transformed her unhappy bikini shopping into an awesome successful experience! She was beaming after!”
“Cleo is a gem! I needed a bra for my mother of the bride gown and didn’t want any “cup ridges” causing a visible wrinkle. I showed her the gown, she took 2 measurements and came back with only one bra. I tried it on with the gown and it was perfect! The personal attention, friendly calming demeanor and her obviously knowledge saved me from frustratingly sorting through countless bras at a department store. With 2 weeks before my daughter’s wedding and countless last minutes tasks, not needing an appointment allowed me walk in when I had time- a major stress reducer. Thanks Cleo.”
“Loren Jones and her style of clothes and jewelry, candles, sunglasses and so forth are awesome. She gives you special attention at Rowan Boutique in Ventura! You rock, Loren!”

“Five stars isn't enough, this is a great women's clothing store. Very attractive merchandising with cute clothes, shoes, and jewelry. The staff is extremely helpful and patient. Nice store!”
“This was the best shop on the strip in my humble opinion . As a merchandising grad I truly appreciate the thought & time that goes into their displays . Your hard work shows B on Main ; ) It’s a fun place to get a little something for yourself and definitely a place to get a gift for someone all the while swaying to good music .”
“I would like to thank Charlie for a excellent services on helping me and my wife on getting what's we needed for our Christmas shopping. I would like to all so thank Celeste and Ashlee for adding more helping support for my shopping experience. Thanks you for your time and service.”
“Me and my sweetheart always stop here when in town. She loves the items, almost always finds something she want to get. The other reviews say the girls working the store are great and thats right! Always a fun time”
“Vintage burgundy & white checkered flooring greet you at the door. With natural light beaming from the skylights from the exposed beams, the cacti, to the crystal selections-the earthy vibes here ground you. You will find an array of household, beauty, clothing , baby, and handmade local goods. They were pouring candles when I visited.Every item feels special and hand-picked to ensure craft & quality.Definitely make a visit. I picked up some Charlotte Stone shoes!! Great place to find a gift and maybe something for you too!”
“Very cute store on Main St in Downtown Ventura. So much to choose from and variety of different styles. Amanda was amazing, extremely friendly and helpful! It was so refreshing to have assistance shopping, from pulling suggestions to helping with the fitting room and try on. Reminded of having a personal stylist and you just don't see that at stores anymore these days. I loved the clothes and the experience so I will definitely be back to shop more.”
“The clothing sections can improve with more shirts. I liked that they had a lot of home goods and tools/home improvement items. They had some black and decker paint brushes, cleaning supplies, tarp, screws, drip pans for stove, snow gloves, etc. Brand name shampoos and hot hair tools,”
“Location: Good (but soon to close after 40 years), Parking: Okay in public parking areas around the city (4 hours free) Service: was nice with information on what was happening to the area and the changes to cause them to close the brick and mortar and Stay a Renaissance faire staple and online producer after this year. Product design and creation: Great, I did purchase my jacket and vest at the faire but could not find any pieces at the store to work with what I had, which was the reason I drove up. Overall: For many years passing through the faire gates, I wanted to have a design that matched that period. This year, I found 2 pieces that I liked and made the buy. I was hopeful to get other pieces so I drove out to the main store in Ventura. For the ladies, they did have more selections than for the men, which was great but not for me. Finding out they were closing after all these years was also haard to hear after I just found them. It's such a shame when Cities lose their vision and don't support all the business that keep visitors walking the venues. I remember years ago these streets were full of tourist looking at the merchandise in the local stores. Now, it seemed more of a ghost town...So for my first visit 4 stars this includes the boothe they had at the Renaissance Faire and the people that helped me find what I was looking for. I did have the sleeves tailored. But I knew that when I made the purchase. 4 stars, and I wish them the best should on their future z choices. I will look for you, and if I see the pieces I need, will make the next buy knowing your product is great quality!”

“Wow ? Today was my first time visiting the new location and it’s adorable. My shopping experience was wonderful as usual. The sales associates were so friendly and helpful. Even going above and beyond to look in every possible nook and cranny to find me the Ojai socks I needed for stocking stuffers. I love this local gem.”

“I ordered the Adidas Samba online at Zumiez thinking it'll be shipped soon but a few days later, I get an email that its sold out and they couldn't ship the shoe to me so I called customer service and they were able to find the shoes at the Zumiez in Ventura. I called and spoke to Milo and he had the shoes in his hand as I was on the phone with him, he told me to order it right away and I did exactly that. About 15 minutes later, I called back and he was able to put my shoes on the side for me. When I spoke to Milo on the phone, he told me someone else tried to order it. I picked up the shoe a few days later with no problems. Milo was extremely helpful and so were the other staff. I would recommend this place and will definitely shop here again.”
“this is a nice store and I love AE clothes, especially their jeans. I just wish that the mall had air conditioning lol, most of the stores at Pacific View don't have any ventilation.”
“I like this Hot topic because it's super cool and it's very small but I do like it even though they have the cool stuff like helluva boss or hazbin hotel or amazing digital circus or murder drones why did got myself a mystery plushie helluva boss.”
“Bianca is the best in jewelry. She patiently and kindly helped my daughter find her favorite earrings. My daughter is very picky and Bianca was so patient and kind. She also gave really great ear care advice. Highly recommend her for your jewelry shopping needs at Macy’s in Ventura CA.”
“Always looks like a bomb went off in this store. Merchandise all over the floor one time I bought a box that said three pairs of brief underwear when I got home there was forks inside”
“I love shopping here for the styles and moderate pricing but there’s been a handful of times I drive all the way there and they’re not open during their posted business hours.
And once again, here three years later I drive all the way here during “open” business hours and the doors are locked with the open sign lit up in the front window. Such a bummer!!!”
“Can be hit or miss at this location as far as having good items, and also with the staff. I've had a range from a really awesome experience here with super helpful employees, and then had some not-so-helpful but not rude experiences as well. Just more quiet/ introvert type employees who weren't really helpful when I asked for assistance (like I had 10+ items in my hands that I planned to buy, but couldn't carry them anymore as I wanted to keep shopping, and the person at the counter was annoyed I wanted to have them held. I've also had an employee not put my items in the right place/ or indicate they are being held and all my things I planned to buy were put back while I was trying on other items in the fitting room. Such a drag! ?♀️) I live out of the area but come through here every few weeks and this location has decent enough buyers that I routinely make it a point to stop here. I've gone bananas and found $500+ of worthwhile items, and then sometimes don't find a single thing. I completely understand that that is the nature of this kind of store, however, and it's always fun to look.”
“Industry Horror is such a cool little shop. It's like Hot Topic but with heart.
The main stock is clothing, accessories, and jewelry, all with a horror or alternative twist. The pieces are incredibly unique. Referential but humorous, silly, spooky, just all around fun. I almost exclusively wear earrings from Industry Horror.
And the cherry on top is that all the art is designed by local artists, and the proceeds go back to supporting autism. It's just so cool, a good cause, and just a good vibe overall. A great thing to have in our community.”
