The job ended up more extensive than at first look, and he changed more parts than what was expected, but he immediately called me to let me know and discounted prices for me in order to stay within the original quote. He stayed true to his word, which is a premium when dealing with car repairs. His father is also an expert and a rare breed in that he rebuilds transmissions in house and mine was rebuilt to the highest standards. His sister took care of all the admin, explaining everything in a straightforward way to make sure I knew exactly what I was looking at on the invoice, to include the free 2 week check up and the 1.5 year warranty. The whole family was very attentive and even made sure I got a ride to the rental place, which they called ahead for me to get me a discount on my temporary car.
