Briggs Tree Company, Inc. is a well-established gardening store that has been serving the San Diego community for over three decades. The business is known for its extensive and healthy plant selection, catering to the needs of both contractors and homeowners.
Customers praise the knowledgeable staff, particularly Marty, who provides excellent advice on gardening and plant care. The front desk employees are also described as super helpful and kind. However, there was one instance where a customer encountered a rude employee, but they chose not to let that experience ruin their overall positive impression.
The nursery offers a wide variety of plants, including perennial flowers, herbs, berry bushes, and trees. Customers appreciate the fair prices, which are often lower than those found at other nearby nurseries or big-box stores. The only minor drawbacks mentioned are the difficulty in navigating the grounds and the preference for a different nursery for fruit trees.
Overall, Briggs Tree Company, Inc. is highly recommended by its long-time customers, who appreciate the ethical business practices, reasonable prices, and excellent customer service.
Had very helpful customer service identifying plants needed. Great location for wholesale.

Very good selection, quality and reasonable prices.

Very large variety of plants including rare collector plants good for San Diego county, like Michelia Alba or Champaca. You can get large trees (15 gallon or 24” boxes) with very good prices. The staff are quite knowledgeable on different species of trees.
