“It's always been a great experience at this location. The postal workers are always courteous and professional. But they are understaffed. So things move along pretty slowly. Who's fault is that? The public (voters).”

“While this may look like a post office, it's actually the office of magical teleportation. You'll need three fig Newtons and a badge of identification. I use this office to travel to Turkey it only took 3.7 seconds. Now if you're looking for help with USPS matters ring the bell and eat the fig Newtons while you wait”

“This is the only office on Camp Pendleton that does passports if you have base access. It is located in the 22 area across from the air field and on 10th Street (same street as the new McDonalds) a couple blocks behind.”

“This is the best post office ever! Blanca is always so kind, efficient, and knowledgeable (she also has the best sense of humor around). I love this post office!!”

“This is the post office that does passports for anyone with base access. Not sure why it's on Google maps multiple times with different addresses, but it is located in the 22 area across from the air field on 10th St., which is the same street the new McDonalds is on. It's back a couple blocks and the building number is NOT 1103. It is 22103”

“Nicholas here is the best. Yeah it sucks if you come at a busy time like lunch or the end of the day. But the friendliness, knowledge, and helpfulness of this guy makes me happy to stop by anytime if I know I’ll be helped by him!”

“We went in on a Saturday to get our passport done, we had an appointment and Christine was super helpful and knowledgeable. Also, the USPS website says they don't do passport photos on the weekend, but they do.”

“I've had a PO box here for 2y now. Initially the one worker there was a woman close to retirement who I guess never filed any of my PO box paperwork from when I originally got it (this became an issue later with a name change and documentation) or gave me the door code for after hours. But she left a while ago and there's a new guy who's on top of things and great.

Prices of po boxes change but when I got one here this was the cheapest option in the area because it's small and not a 24h or typical big post office - however for PO box renters you get a door code for after hours so don't worry about it not being open as late if you're just picking up mail.

Otherwise no complaints, and unlike where I last had a PO box(rsf and pasadena) I've never had an issue with package theft here or misdeliveries. The 2 times there was a package issue had to do with a site not letting me add the PO box 4digit zip ending so they didn't know whose box it belonged to - but found my name and just called me.”

“A wonderful USPS office that is staffed by some of the friendliest and most helpful postal employees I’ve ever encountered. Michelle and Amber are truly fantastic and competent professionals who always brighten my day whenever I have to pick up packages.”

“THE BEST post office period. Staff are so quick, professional, friendly, and ON their gig! I've had plenty of neighborhood post offices over my 70+ years, Carlsbad definitely ranks TOPS. I live in a neighboring town, but still drive to Carlsbad, just for the folks that work there. FIVE+STARS”

“Above average (for USPS) on the customer service. The postal workers here have been here for a while, so they know their stuff. 2 automated machines for the self-help types. I also like that they keep the Priority shipping boxes stocked, which many POs struggle with.”

“I want to express my sincere appreciation for the passport processing staff member who helped our family recently. Despite a crowded and somewhat chaotic environment—where many visitors were clearly ignoring the posted guidelines—he remained impressively calm, patient, and professional.

We hadn’t made an appointment, and our application process took about 45 minutes, but he never once made us feel rushed or unwelcome. Instead, he handled everything with grace, efficiency, and a kind demeanor that truly stood out.

It’s rare to see someone manage both the demands of a busy workplace and the needs of the public with such poise. We left feeling grateful and impressed. Thank you!”

“My experience has been fairly great because there is one worker named Juana who goes above and beyond. Every time I come in she has a smile on her face, always greeting and good energy. Willing also wanting to help literally goes the extra mile. I was having trouble with not receiving my mail or another worker who wasn’t as willing to help but she stepped in and her name is Juana. We love Juana!! I honestly thought she was a supervisor at first because of her professionalism. Thanks for making our experience every time such a great one. We appreciate the service and the good energy Juana!”

“Brooks street Post Office is my Go to Post office. Employees are friendly and very helpful. I have my packages scanned to show prepaid acceptance and to show my customers that their orders are in the possession of the US Post Office and on it's way to them. I really appreciate the team of US postal employees at this location.”

“Just be kind to the staff and you’ll be taking care of. Trent was the gentleman who helped me when I stopped by right before closing and was particularly swamped when he did. I smiled, exchanged pleasantries and ultimately my experience there that day was amazing. I would highly recommend just being kind.”
