“I can remember coming to this store, when I was about 5 yrs old with my O bachan " grandma, Reiko Sugimoto. Every other weekend on a Saturday. We would buy food, go back to her place and make all kinda of Japanese cuisine. I love this place, it reminds me so much of Japan. So authentic and original, so different than the .99€ ranch. So many products to choose from, and I like that, they sell sushi on Saturday. The authentic version like my grandma makes. So yummy and fresh, I like that I am 1/4 Japanese, along with a couple more nationalities. Every time I come into the store reminds me of going back to my roots. I have children of my now, all grown up. Now I bring my children with me, almost every time I shop here, keep the tradition of my grandma. I love this place, so cute and small store. Reminds me of when I was a young girl about five years old, and it brings me down memory lane. I love that it stays so original and authentic. They stock up on their products, fast customer service, and I like that there's so many options to choose from. I will be coming to this store, forever however long it remains. Five stars !!!! “I stumbled upon India Bazaar when I was getting Dunkin Donuts a few doors down. Years ago, my friend made a delicious mango flan and when she taught me how to make it, she told me to use mango puree. It's really hard to find mango puree in stores so I thought I'd come in to see if they have it and luckily, they did! The lady working there was really nice and even gave me tips on how to use to mango puree to make mango lassi by adding yogurt! One huge can of mango puree was enough to make a mango flan and still have some left over for a few lassi drinks.”

“WOW what a nice Safeway so much different than my Safeway in Manteca now why can't we have a pretty Safeway like this one. I never understand how the same store brand can be so pretty and nice in some areas and some areas it's a dump. I hate shopping at my Safeway was giving up on Safeway as I always remembered growing up since a little girl when my dad would bring me Into work with him Safeway raised girl here and this Safeway hits the spot it's so well set up so many selections I never knew existed since my Safeway does not have them. The bakery smelled oh so good and fresh just walking by I don't Have that at my Safeway bakery was so beautifully set up so many selections such pretty cakes on display every aisle I walked through so so well stocked no empty shelves lines moved fairly well found everything we needed and more I wish I didn't live so far away otherwise this would be the Safeway I drove out of my way to to do my shopping. Keep it up Safeway this store is a role model for me”

“I'm going to Safeway shopper for years always enjoy fighting all my produce and most of my shopping here. The customer service and the produce is always really friendly and nice whenever they're out of items I'm always able to ask someone in the department to see if they have any more in the back which sometimes they able to find fresh ones for me. For the most part the store is clean and nice not the biggest organic section but a decent amount to find most of what I'm looking for. I enjoy the bakery too they have a lot of nice breads that my family and I love. Overall it's a great store.”

“What a fun place to have landed this past Saturday. My husband and I took a quick trip to walnut creek as it had one of the only jewelry stores that carried watch bands for his high end watch. We were looking for a place to grab a quick bite and happened to walk past the boutique. Honestly I might have kept walking, but my husband noticed a dress he thought would great on me ( which it did) so I stopped in. What a find!!! I ended up getting the dress at a great price ! The young lady helping me was terrific and did a wonderful job of identifying my style. I live approx 3 hours away, I will be back!”

“Definetly a nice new safeway, with a good variety of items. Nice bakery selection and hot foods. They also have a nice seating area if you want to have a cofee and or eat something at the store.I wish safeway wasent getting so expensive otherwise I would shop here exclusivly. Defineltly cheaper than the whole foods up the road, however since they are pricier I am forced to shop at other stores to get vegetables and certain items at a cheaper price.”

We were running a lot of errands for the next few days, so I felt having water might be handy. And that's the only reason I was here. I found what we needed in no time and also ended up grabbing a couple of snacks. Got in line and wondered why it was going slow when there were only 2 people ahead of me with less than 3 items each. I then I got it: the customer up front was having issues with her purchase, and the cashier went out his way to help her. It was a really friendly exchange between them two. So I didn't really mind the longer wait. Customer left happy. Cashier was happy to help. I love witnessing good customer service! Good first run! Prolly last, too, because I live nowhere nearby. So glad of the experience, though!”

“It's a very nice store seems pretty organized for the most part. Has a pretty good organic section could improve by having more options and having more items in stock. I'm a frequent Safeway shopper so I do come here and other Safeways a lot during the week.For the most part the people are friendly and helpful when trying to look for items. Parking is always very convenient to large parking spot so I never have issues funding parking at least.”
