“Love the plant based menu and their bahn mi sandwich. Wish they served the chickpea sandwich fromRooted. Service is hit or miss but has improved recently. Seating in the back is odd on stools not comfortable but good space for small kids as it’s closed in. Updated from previous review on 2026-05-18”
“My favorite place to shop for food! I always feel like im getting the best food for great prices. I also love the bulk food bins where you can scoop out as much as you need and its priced by the pound. I get my granola, trail mix, rice and beans from them. Game changer. Less plastic waste as well.”
“Small neighborhood Asian food market. So small you might miss it. Parking looks difficult, but there is a small parking lot in the back. Good variety for it's size. Nice family owned small shop.”
“One of my favorite grocery stores, and probably my favorite Safeway in the region. The store is consistently clean, well-maintained, and comfortable both inside and out. It has a great selection, spacious layout, and plenty of parking, which makes shopping here much less stressful than many other locations.
I also appreciate the extra services and details — the floral section, in-store Starbucks, fresh produce, and ready-to-eat foods like the chicken tenders and potato wedges are surprisingly good. The overall atmosphere just feels organized, welcoming, and easy to shop in. A very solid neighborhood store.”

“Ordered the Thanksgiving meal for family this year and it was amazing! Got the food around 9am and the staff was calm, cool and composed. It was busy and that staff outside was so friendly as some customers were NOT. Kudos to their professionalism!!!”
“I always stop at the Whole Foods when I'm traveling down to The Bay Area from the North State. It's your standard WF. A little smaller than some WF locations but I find it has all I need. It can be hard to get to later in the day because of traffic and Walnut Creek is just crowded all the time it seems. But it's only about a 7-8 minute detour off the freeway so it's an easy stop.”

“Lundardi’s remains the anchor tenant of this neighborhood shopping center and continues to provide the everyday essentials that keep the plaza relevant. Walking through the center brings back memories of the community shopping centers that were common throughout California for decades.
While the property could certainly benefit from some modernization and remodeling, there’s also something refreshing about seeing a place that hasn’t completely lost its original identity. The shaded walkways, mature landscaping, and familiar storefronts still create a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere”

“I stumbled upon India Bazaar when I was getting Dunkin Donuts a few doors down. Years ago, my friend made a delicious mango flan and when she taught me how to make it, she told me to use mango puree. It's really hard to find mango puree in stores so I thought I'd come in to see if they have it and luckily, they did! The lady working there was really nice and even gave me tips on how to use to mango puree to make mango lassi by adding yogurt! One huge can of mango puree was enough to make a mango flan and still have some left over for a few lassi drinks.”

“While the store layout is a bit confusing compared to my home store, the last few I've visited the store it has been without any issues
The store is very clean & maintained well. The employees are also very helpful & as someone with a young Service Dog In Training, I really appreciate the sign the door in regards to Service Animals

“Several heirloom grape tomatoes were starting to go bad. On a busy Thursday afternoon it required maneuvering to get around other shoppers and a wait to check out. Deli clerk was great after I got their attention. I saw staff assisting a customer to their car. Self check out & staff were efficient despite the line. It seemed expensive, perhaps because I forgot to put in my rewards card.”

“They have improved their service. I would not give it one star a year ago but now I am going there 2-4 times a month. Deli corner is improved. Dishes are really good and taste authentic. Freshly baked bread is the best. Cashiers are discreet.”
