“Just Trains is a great store with excellent customer service! My wife needed some train scale scenery items for a miniature project. She called Just Trains and a very nice, helpful man (think it was Jim?) answered all of her questions. My wife ordered online; everything was well-packed, as described, and arrived quickly. We both love train stores and want to go to Just Trains soon and see all their fun scenes, etc. Meantime, we know where to look first when we need train scale items. Highly recommend Just Trains!”
“This 2nd hand Lego store is 2nd one with in a 20 minute drive . Another one is in pleasant hill. What I like about this store is the display and light area. Lots of lights and Lego display . The owner Mike is very friendly and knowledge about Lego . There are usually two other gentleman who are just as friendly. On like the other store that has only one worker to help and the owner hides in the back. The San Ramon store has more used Lego and there is always something to find every time I go. There is also new sets and promotions on there instagram page. There sets and figures are around the normal price. There used sets tend too be better. I've seen Lego classes from the Brickmasters that are an option to join. In general the friendly staff, more Lego , and presentation is why its getting a good rating.”

“I had these guys construct me a monstrosity of a cover for a large 130 year old antique cabinet. Jesse was the one who helped me, awesome customer service and he knew his stuff! He called me to give me an eta, then they called me on that day to tell me it was done! I picked up the piece today and the lady who took my payment was funny and friendly! The piece it fit perfectly over my cabinet! They did a great job on the dimensions. There was a little hiccup with some scratches, but the boss took care of me, very kindly and professionally. These guys really went the extra mile to make my custom piece. So it's all good in the hood and IThanks, Tap Plastics!”

“This store is super fun, family friendly, and fully stocked. My youngest son, his brother and my husband and I love Legos, and this store is an experience, not just a trip to the store. It was like a little adventure, across cultures and through time, a treasure hunt that children and adults alike can enjoy tremendously.”

“Have been a long time customer here and fully enjoy it, they have a friendly and knowledgeable staff. I usually come here Friday nights for Magic the gathering sealed drafts and Monday night for magic the gathering commander nights. Large crowd lots of diversity in the players. “I highly recommend Jeff Brody. He is very knowledgeable about coins, fair in pricing and a fun guy to know. My dad kept a coin collection and we weren't sure of it's value or what to do with it. I called Jeff after getting a recommendation from a friend. He answered the phone when I called and invited me to his shop in Orinda. We spent a couple hours going through the collection while listening to an awesome playlist of tunes mostly from the 70s. My mom was so happy with the results - time well spent!”

“Came here while visiting my brother in town and the store has a really nice collection of dice. A little low on figurines when I visited, but Heather was so nice at the front!! They immediately clocked me as someone that would enjoy textured dice and helped me pick some beautiful dragon scale dice. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again.”

“This is a small place. They have a bigger location. It does have some inventory, but I was not sure if anyone was working. No one ever came out to greet, nor was there a cashier. I was there for quite some time and never saw anyone. It is a small shop, so I figured they were doing other things. The items are limited (no kamen rider or super sentai items). It had plenty of model kits, and the tools actually have notes made by the store to show what the item is good for. Overall, it's a nice small store. It definitely not much compared to their bigger store. If you want model kits and small anime figures, this store has it.”
“Always try to come here for the kids events and the staff there while young have been always been very accommodating and very welcoming. This location does not have a private room for the kids events, but there's more than enough space in the front of the store.”
“This Hobby Lobby is huge. There's an extra room off to the side. I love that Spring items are on sale before Spring gets here! Downside - not enough cashiers and I got in a line that was going to close. The employee was rather rude when telling me he was closing.”

“Jim was fantastic! My kids had a collection of coins that they were sure would be worth millions! I called ahead, explaining the unlikelihood. Jim agreed to meet with them anyway. He very professionally went through each coin, explaining what would make a coin valuable. We learned a lot! He's quite a historian, as well. Our coins were only face-value but the experience was priceless.”
