The Garrett Thrift Shop is a clean, nicely organized boutique thrift store and a fun hidden gem in Walnut Creek. It is not a huge place, but it is well stocked and well displayed with a little bit of everything, including kitchenware, houseware, furniture, books, clothing, and more. It is known for having really great and fair prices, with great deals and amazing sales, including a notable annual Christmas decor sale. The atmosphere is great, with a super sweet, friendly, welcoming, and nice manager and staff. While some find the vintage clothing picked over, a very redeeming quality is a dedicated back corner for crafty supplies. This area features tons of vintage and modern yarns and fabrics, other fiber arts kits, crochet hooks, knitting needles, embroidery, and quilting supplies at low prices. The parking lot is small, but shopping there supports a good cause as the proceeds go to charity. The store accepts credit cards, requires masks, and accepts donations on specific days. It is considered one of the nicest, best, and cleanest thrift stores in the area, perfect for finding something unexpected.
Clean, organized. Good variety of items. On the smaller side in my opinion and some items (especially household) feel quite overpriced compared to other thrift shops in the area.

The best and cleanest boutique thrift store in the area! Really great prices on furniture too! Super sweet manager and staff! I just picked up this kitchen hutch for a steal!

Small shop. Very nice quality clothing and other items when I was there, with good prices. Short hours though.
