“My initial experience with my pickup order at Nordstrom was honestly not very good. Two of the items I ordered were canceled because they were apparently unavailable. I was also disappointed when I checked the polo shirt I purchased as a gift for my uncle and realized it wasn’t placed in a box, even though I had selected the gift option.
However, my experience completely changed because of the wonderful customer service I received from several Nordstrom employees.
I told my husband and my two kids that I still wanted to stop by Jo Malone to look at their hand lotions. While I was there, Nawal asked me something, and although I wasn’t quite sure what she was asking at first, I explained that the hand lotion I had originally tried to pick up was marked unavailable in the app. I showed her the item, and she kindly checked and told me that it was actually available. Of course, that gave me the opportunity to purchase it! 😊
I also asked if it came with a box, and she assured me that it did. Nawal was so warm, kind, and genuinely pleasant to talk to. She even gave my daughter and me a sample of a Jo Malone perfume. I’ve been trying to find a Jo Malone scent that I really love, but every time I tried one before, it just wasn’t quite the right scent for me. The sample Nawal gave me, however, is one that I absolutely loved—and I can actually see myself purchasing it in the future!
I really want to commend Nawal for the wonderful way she treated me, my husband, and my kids. She made us feel welcomed and cared for, and that kind of customer service really makes a difference.
I’d also like to commend Malika from Diptyque. She was very accommodating when I asked if I could get a sample of Fleur de Peau. It’s a fragrance I really love, but it’s an expensive perfume, so I wanted to make sure I truly loved it before making the purchase. Malika was very nice to talk to and even told me about an upcoming promotion, which I really appreciated.
And thanks to Nawal, we also went to the men’s department to ask if someone could help us box the polo shirt. That’s where we met Krishna, who was incredibly kind and helpful. Initially, we were simply going to take the box home and assemble it ourselves, but Krishna went above and beyond and actually boxed the shirt for us. My husband and I really appreciated that extra effort.
Overall, these three employees completely changed my impression of shopping at Nordstrom. I had read reviews about customers receiving perfume samples, and while I understand that there are people who may simply want samples without any intention of purchasing, I really appreciated how these employees treated me and my entire family.
What stood out to me was that they were kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful without making us feel pressured. Those little gestures made a big difference and turned what started as a disappointing shopping experience into a really positive one.
Thank you, Nawal, Malika, and Krishna, for making our visit special. Kudos to all three of you! You are a great representation of the kind of customer service that makes people want to come back to Nordstrom.”

“Nice store with a large selection of clothes. The store is big and never too crowded, and you never have to wait long for a fitting room. The clothes are a little expensive here but it’s overall a great place.”

“I visited this American Cancer Society and was impressed with the selection and welcoming customer service. I was looking for a vintage piece and needed some help and received great and friendly service from the staff/volunteers. I would highly recommend visiting!”
“This review is for the store, not the company. The store was well staffed on a Saturday morning and merchandise was neatly organized. They were very helpful in processing an online return (when the online customer service team was not). They also helped me out with setting up a fitting room so I could try on new stuff. Also the employees were all wearing the brand…always a good sign.”

I decided to give Madewell jeans a try because I'd heard they were cut well for different body types. (I have a small waist and bigger legs so I often have a waist gap or they are too tight in the thighs.) Jordan in the Walnut Creek location is so knowledgeable and patient and she helped me find the perfect pair of jeans for me. Not only do they fit great, but they are super soft and so comfortable. I tried on so many pairs and she helped me refine it down to the one that was perfect for me (the Perfect Vintage Wide Leg). Thanks Jordan!”

“Great customer service and the clothing is exceptionally comfortable. I've had a pair of the legging like material joggers for a couple years and they are like new. Wear very well. I recently went in and bought a pair of super duper comfy cute leggings and a couple bra tops. I had gotten some stuff at Lulu and it was so thin and cheaply made and their in store selections suck, so I returned it for this awesome stuff. It's way nicer IMO and super cute and soft.”

“I’ve been shopping at this clothing chain for years and years, I say at least 30 years. They have them in quite a few locations. They have one Napa, Lafayette, Walnut Creek, and I do believe Moraga. They have a wide variety of clothes for men and women and children, this is fascinating for a small chain. They actually have a teenager department for girls and two sections of the women’s department, one for the very mature woman. They even have a shoe section with a very good variety. Also Jewelry and purses. I forgot to mention on the woman’s side, they have undergarments and sportswear.
It truly is amazing the variety of clothing and other things they have in these stores. And the prices are decent. Don’t miss out is my suggestion.”

I like the natural fabric available at the Eileen Fisher store, they are comfortable and breathe easily. They have a variety of colors and styles from easy, slim, to relax fit. Excellent parking available in the Walnut Creek Broadway Plaza mall Center, refined shopping center, quality boutiques, department stores, and eateries. Great for the whole family!”

I needed bra fitting and she explained to me all the different bra types, including how strapless bras should fit, and was very thorough and patient making sure I found the proper fit. Because of her patience and great customer service, I decided to buy another two bras from here. The other employees were also very kind and helpful, even going as far as searching through bins and drawers to find my favorite colors and styles. I had a great experience and will only be going to this location from now on, solely for the customer service and experience.”

The customer service was amazing we had about four different staff members come up and help us, and every single one of them was so kind, patient, and helpful. “This place is an absolute gem & worth going out of your way for! I've been here twice now after passing by and had wonderful experiences with the incredibly sweet owners/staff both times. I was offered Turkish coffee & Turkish delight, which were both delicious! Half the reason I want to come back is to see these lovely people again.
The items curated here are beautiful & unique, with lots of handmade art & jewelry. There's a large variety of things to choose from, whether your budget is big or small. I cannot recommend this little place enough! I promise you will not regret stopping by. (:”
