“Best usps than the one in College St. Asian lady gave me a receipt like she supposed to unlike the other branch. Love that they're open till 2pm here. Plus their customer service is better here than a lot of the other branches. Huge parking too.”
“I am mind blown at the kindness I received today at this Post office. Thank you so much lady for helping me reduce the size of my package to save a few dollars. I’m trying to save for a road trip with my family and have been unfortunate to all of the sudden need car repairs as well as a dental procedure due within weeks of my trip I’ve been trying to save for that I will now have little to bring on the trip since these pressing circumstances are very costly. Every little bit of money helps. Thank you thank you ?”
“The staff are efficient, friendly, show high level of competency.. their work ethics are exceptional despite the increasing demands for passport applications and renewals. They try their best to give each customers an exceptional customer service. Thank you again.”
“I live right around the corner and have had to come in more frequently. Always the best customer service here! Thanks Pancho & Delia for making every experience so welcoming??”
“I didn’t know I would write a review for USPS. Everybody was so nice and thoughtful. I walked in for a passport. Made a few mistakes, but was in and out within 5 minutes. Even took passport photo and staff made sure I like the picture. My nearest USPS has a bad reputation. I’m so glad I drove extra to this location. Thank you everybody who helped me out!”
“The best post office, because Cindy and the other ladies are always friendly. Majority of the time I get the clerk Cindy who is always nice about scanning my packages. I always get a receipt and she’s never refused me unlike the workers at the post office on Elliot street. They’re extremely pushy about leaving your packages in a bin. It’s too risky not having them scanned in and getting confirmation. Anyway, Cindy is great and so is this post office!”

“It has been 2 years for my son. Two years before he was 4 years old. Now he Getting better and better and Had lots of fun!Coaches are strict but kids all like them”
“Haven't been there IRL, but from the service I get from deliveries. I can't help but give them 5 starts — they work their butts off no matter how if it rains or if it's ungodly hot or cold. These guys are always here for us, they're one of the back bones of America! Keep up the amazing work mail(men/women) of USPS Covina! You guys are amazing”
“I don't know if he or his boss is going to see this but I just had the best experience thanks to Deante. He was welcoming, super helpful, and didn't rush anything. Greeted people like regulars at a coffee shop and smoothly and politely got out package shipped. Would've tipped him if I could've. Deante, if you're out there, way to go restoring out faith in humanity.”
“Postal Services in Sierra Madre, Los Angeles, California...We had just finished breakfast nearby when I asked my friend, Hannah, if there was a post office nearby. She pointed and said that there was one right around the corner! Yay!Sierra Madre's post office is cozy, calm, and mellow. I felt like I was in a safe, small, quaint country town. I parked in the back of the building and walked in the building from the side door.Other people parked in the front, on the street, and walked in the front door.It wasn't crowded, so, I walked right up to the letter slot, tossed my postcard in, and left.Easy as pie!”
“I had a great experience at the Covina United States Postal Service office while helping my husband get his passport for the first time. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. It was super easy to make the appointment online, and when we arrived, everyone was friendly and helpful. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and walked us through the steps clearly. It made what could have been a stressful process feel quick and easy. Thank you to the Covina USPS team for the excellent service!”

“I came here with an apt for my kids passport, it was our first time getting passports so going through the process was new to us. We came in and noticed front clerk Alida assisting another man, she sounded friendly and helpful to “him”. After we went up her tone changed and she definitely made our experience uncomfortable. We didn’t disrespect her in any way we weren’t rude in anyway and we noticed the tone of voice with us vs. her tone of voice with that man. After a few mins another clerk assisted us and he is the only reason why I gave a 4 star. The customer service that she failed he fulfilled. We noticed different interactions with Alida and customers and she picks and chooses who she wants to give good customer service. We even noticed her interaction with one of her co workers and it was very tense. She shouldn’t be in the front unless she treats everyone with respect not only when she feels like it.”
“I am a huge advocate for the USPS, especially now since younger people don't understand the difference between the USPS and UPS. The people who work here are nice and know me as a regular. And they usually have the newest books of stamps on offer so I always get mine there.”
“went there two times at 12:45ish. the first time was no problem, the second time the employee was on an hour long lunch break so I had to go to another post office. not sure if this happens frequently but you may need to call to see if anyone is there during lunch time.”
“I've always lived in this city and I go here most of the time. Bryan and Tracy usually help me. They are always cheery, helpful and very knowledgeable about how to send mail/packages. Last Saturday had a 5 minute wait. Not bad for a weekend. Excellent customer service.”
“Very Helpful at this post office. Everyone there has been nice and respectful and they get the job done in a timely fashion. Thankful this post office is close in town and love the old fashioned structure as well :).”
“Everyone here has been friendly and superbly helpful(and I have worked with everyone that's been here over the past decade).
Many of the bad reviews are for general frustrations with post office speed and delivery in general.
Solutions?
1. Remove people with conflicts of interest (ie DeJoy and Wos who may claim up to a total $75,815,000 in assets from U.S. Postal Service competitors, according to government records) from positions of power and/or force them do divest from companies that benefit from USPS's shortcomings.
2. Invest in your infrastructure and workers. Make sure there are enough mail carriers; ensure they are paid fair wages that raise with inflation; and prevent deteriorating labor standards which will inevitably get in the way of effective and efficient mail delivery. (The former removes many disincentives for this.)”
“Best USPS!!! The workers there are always friendly and always give a little treat to my package helper (kids ?). They go above and beyond and are so patient with all the packages I drop off. ??”

“My go too post office because I live locally. Lines are not bad, if there is one at all. All of the clerks are super nice, friendly, and most importantly, helpful. Thank you always for the service. Peace”
“It's a very small post office, right off Irwindale Ave and Arrow Hwy, on a side street directly across from a city park and the Irwindale Police Station. The parking lot has 4 spots, one is disabled only, however, there is parking permitted at it's curb on the street, which is why 4 stars. If you arrive at 2:00pm during weekdays, you'll have to come back at 2:30pm to allow the employees their lunch break. There's also the drive-up out-going stamped mailbox with the Priority Mailbox and Express in the parking area. It isn't as big as the Covina Post Office on Rimsdale or the West Covina P.O. nearby the West Covina Fashion Plaza which may discourage some but I find a bonus for no waiting, generally. It has a handicapped entrance and ramp next to disabled spot. And I've yet to see any of the postal employees being rude or unhelpful to any of the customers and there definitely is no woman by the door asking if you need stamps (really? it's so small, she'd get in the way if she existed) as one review claimed. I just like it because it's quick and easy if I need to go inside.”

“I visited this USPS location at 1:30PM, right after their lunch break and was pleasantly surprised to find no line. There was only one teller working, which can sometimes cause long waits, but luckily that wasn’t the case during my visit. Overall, it was a quick and smooth experience this time.”

“Just came to drop off a package. I’m not one to really mail anything out but Doug made everything so simple. He went out of his way to help me out and provide me better options.
People like Doug make this a better place!”
“Just left this post office. Way different from wtf Im used to. Because the parking lot is shared with quite a few businesses in this shopping complex (Santa Fe Plaza). So there is always somewhere to park. When you enter the post office, its like a ghost town. Because it was empty af. Only one person was ahead of me. Hilda was my cashier. She was cool. No problems. Besides Southgate location, this is the only other post office that got a 4 star rating from me.”
“I had to mail a set of important legal documents, and I was in a bit of a rush. The staff at this post office went above and beyond, making sure I picked the fastest yet affordable shipping option. They explained everything thoroughly and ensured my documents were safely packaged. The service was quick, professional, and the prices were very fair, especially for the quality I received. I’m so grateful for their help, and I will definitely return for all my mailing needs.”
“I would like to sincerely thank and commend a staff member at the post office, his name is Jonathan Lopez, he is a star! He is exceptionally dedicated and professional. I recently had a piece of mail that was not delivered, and thanks to their swift assistance, the issue was located and resolved within just a few hours.
His efficiency, responsibility, and attention to detail left a deep impression on me. He truly stood out as a model of excellence. I hope their efforts can be recognized, as they deserve to be a role model for outstanding customer service.
Thank you again for your help — it meant a lot!”
“Nice and friendly staff. Moderate wait time, you can tell they’re trying their best it’s just a smaller more remote office, if you tailor your expectation to what it is you’ll be fine.”
“The service is good, though sometimes a bit slow with long lines, especially during peak hours and weekends. Recently, they installed a kiosk here, which helps a lot”
“I find then more than reasonable in there services ? Sometime it’s the visitor who r holding the line ? By not thinking about other next in line ? They take there time arranging there papers , moving like turtles . Overall , this location deserve an A ?”
