“I've been bringing my exotics to Dr Reimer for years and recently visited Dr Shinkle with a bunny as well. Let me preface this by saying I've visited a lot of vets over the years, and have worked for/with about a dozen. Dr's Reimer and Shinkle absolutely know what they are doing. They will take time to explain things, they are extremely reasonably priced, and when I'm in a time pinch and can't wait long for help, they fit me in. I will continue making the 45 minute drive to All Pets for as long as I have exotics.”

“We just moved to Simi from out of state a few weeks ago. We woke up one Sunday morning to my cat having an urgent butt problem ?. I was so worried that no place would be open but I was relieved to find this pet hospital was open and they got her in for treatment right away! I'm happy to say that 2 weeks later she is all healed and her cone has been removed. “We've been taking our dogs to Agoura Animal Clinic for 20+ years. All of the vets have taking great care of multiple dogs over the years, including some through illnesses and cancer. We had a recent experience that was above and beyond the already great experience we've had over the years. One of my very active and large dogs had a small lump that we had removed (small mass cell tumor). It was in a place that required him to have no activities while he healed. One week into his two week recovery, he popped all of the stitches out. Despite this being late in the day, Dr. Zeilinger stitched him back up that night. Dr. Zeilinger, the vet techs and staff were so kind and considerate and helped a worried dog mom tremendously. My boy is on his way to recovery (again) but I wanted to recognize everyone at Agoura Animal Clinic!”

“I brought 3 of the kittens I fostered/rescued in hard-sided pet carriers to this location to be fixed. I waited until they were at least 4 months old so they don't develop any health issues later.
When I picked them up after their surgeries, they were groggy and seemed to have forgotten they were siblings. They were hissing at each other for a few days until the medication from the surgery was out of their system.
I separated the 3 in individual crates and used paper pellets for them to potty on (so it wouldn't stick to their incision sites). As days passed, one of the three kittens healed fine. One of the female kittens had liquid forming at the incision area (pouch-like) and and the male kitten's private was inflamed, which was worrisome.
I was told the liquid formed because she was active and moving around a lot (she was in a bigger crate). The male kitten didn't have a cone on and I was told it was due to him licking the incision site. The vet instructed me to put a cone on him; the inflammation eventually went away. I'd say both kittens took about 1-2 months for their incision areas to heal.
Overall, I had a good experience at this place. The price was affordable and the staff were very busy, but they were courteous and answered all my questions.”
