She holds onto it and works on it with updated close timelines to make sure it fits perfectly as the bride evolves closer to the big day. I lost weight before my wedding and she was able to change the size and fit of my dress with 1 week to go. Upon picking up the dress 2 days before it looked nearly perfect, but I realized I wanted the hem brought down a bit to hide my shoes more.
