“Well at first I left a terrible review, because no one ever answered my emails until I called the store again i got there attention , they claim they were sending me emails which I never received. But any way almost gave up fine Aly. Got my sobriety pendant today so happy.”
“Wow, awesome spot! Visually and esthetically beautiful place! Tons of nice spots in this shopping district. Amazing staff, and cool store. Jewelry making section with all the various gems/crystals. Tons of crystals, candles, sound bowls, books, and other related fun items. The staff is warm, engaging, and friendly. We felt like we were hanging out at our cool cousin’s house!”

From dresses to sweatshirts to soaps to jewelry to books, there’s something for everyone at reasonable prices. Living only a block away, I pop in often and never come out empty-handed :)”

“I've been here twice and I've walked out a few times with a bunch of figures. I wish I grabbed the Cell figure from there. Other than that, this place is really great and the employees have always been friendly. If you guys want figures for a reasonable and good price, I recommend going to this store.”

“Neat little store with a lot of unique choices, a lot of hand made gifts that you wont see anywhere else. Oh and great personal service, Arax is very sweet and easy to work with and she is a packaging wizard. Your gift will stand out from the others from the packaging alone :)”
“This wonderful local shop has been my go-to shopping for special occasions and personal items for years. Artisanal, eco friendly, and ethically produced home goods, jewelry, kid’s gifts, and just all sorts of unique and high-quality, always affordable…goods!”

3319 Magnolia Blvd, Burbank“For years, MindfulNest has been my go-to spot for unique and thoughtful gifts. Amanda, the owner, curates a beautiful selection of cards, jewelry, art pieces, and trinkets – there's always something special for everyone on my list. Last weekend, I dashed into MindfulNest in a last-minute card frenzy, only to realize I'd left my wallet at home. I explained my predicament to Amanda, hoping she'd put the card on hold for me. To my astonishment, she smiled and said, "Just take it and bring me the money next time you're in!" I was floored! This act of kindness cemented my loyalty to MindfulNest more than ever. It's not just a store; it's a place where genuine connections and community thrive.”
“I LOVE this place!! I've never been able to get any Arknights merch even at anime expo. So seeing it here was so awesome. A lot of genshin stuff too if you're into that. I'm an avid cat girl fan and a LOT of the stuff they have here are cat girls so this place was literally heaven.”
“Jessica helped me over the phone in securing a last available pair of AKILA frames. Being here in CLT and F.D.G.S. in LA - I couldn't have asked for better customer service and she was so accommodating! If all small businesses were run like F.D.G.S. - we wouldn't have such a demand for the big box stores! A++”
9:30AM - 6:30PM
369 N Fairfax Ave #1, Los Angeles“I have never enter this store but I did wait for my brother in the car meanwhile he got a Siddur for me. I observed how the owner walked with my brother towards the books and probably explained to him what the book was for. It took me a while to read the Siddur. Know that I read it every morning and night, I’m very happy with it. May God continue to bless this shop. ?”
“Buddy and Kathy are good people, I've had cool drumming sessions! And they're always quick to help! The stories buddy shares during drum sessions are really good! Thanks to both of you ! Ernesto”
“One of the best automotive museums in the world. The collections change often so worth going back a few times per year. Parking is expensive ($21) in the garage.”
10AM - 6PM
340 1st St, Los Angeles“Must visit in Little Tokyo! Precious business continuing history while updating their contents to what’s relevant to today’s audiences. Don’t forget to check out the second floor for old music cassette collections, handmade candles, and imported artisan goods from Japan.”
“This is the best shop in all of Little Tokyo. Super legit, non-touristy at all, and filled with really cool books, prints, antiques and sculptures. The owner is great to talk to and is really passionate about the community. I now have a ton of recommendations for art and cultural events in the neighborhood! The store is cash only, so make sure to come prepared.”
“I went here to find a gift for a holiday gift exchange. My first visit I was thrilled to find a curated selection of products from books, to notecards, jewelry, candles, bath salts and lotions, to name just a few. The broad selection made it easy to find gifts, and the clerks were very helpful. You can get up to three gifts gift-wrapped for free, and she did an amazing job. Stronly recommend - this store is a gem!”
10:30AM - 8PM
1207 Ocean Front Walk, Venice“I love this shop, so many beautiful and unique indigenous items. The person working there (4/10/23) was so kind. I would have bought more had my luggage had any space left. I will cherish my two rings and the shirt for years to come. I will definitely come back next time I'm in LA.”
“Some of the most beautiful flower bouquets that I have both purchased and been gifted from. I absolutely love the attention to details and how each one is uniquely made for the special person. Blooms on Beverly became my favorite flower shop and I know I will continue to come support this business for every special occasion in the future!?”
“I love this store! I could spend hours perusing everything they have for sale. So unique and creative! Plus, it's connected to the La Luz de Jesus art gallery, that's always a treat. Short drive from the Griffith Observatory!”
“After Necromance, sadly, closed their brick and mortar shop, there was a brief period in time where their combination of taxidermy and Victoriana was no where to be seen. I'm a big fan of Gold Bug in Pasadena, but they are not quite as "dark" in their aesthetic. Memento Mori, on the other hand, feels like a pretty good replacement. So, what are you going to find here? Well, as you may have guessed from my intro, taxidermy. The classic boars and deer heads preserved as wall ornaments...but also delicate butterflies beautifully arranged under glass domes. While no where near as extensive a collection of preserved animal parts as Necromance, there still is a decent collection, particularly for decor. Memento Mori also lacks the strong mothball smell that permeated the aforementioned store. There is a large collection of silver jewelry incorporating classic taxidermy elements, such as glass eyes. And lots of trinkets for those of a "gothic" aesthetic. They also carry a number of very comfortable tshirts bearing variations of their logo, one of which currently hangs in my closet. Memento Mori also appears to serve as a gothic community center: they always have flyers and posters advertising events such as Endless Night, a vampire-themed ball, or gothic-themed fairs for artisans. So, definitely worth a visit if your aesthetics or predilections lean to the darker side of life.”
“Amazing selection of records and other ephemera. My boyfriend got really into Gundam recently and I was so happy to find a first pressing of an OST for the second film here. Legacy businesses like these are what makes Little Tokyo special.”
“My favorite place to shop for gift for loved ones and myself. They have incredible themes throughout the shop and lots of variety to choose from. This shop has very kind staff that brings so much warmth to their customers making it a very comforting and enjoyable experience every time you are shopping. ?️?”
“For years this shop was originally on second street. It was fully supplied with items for the kitchen, dining, and other Japanese items. This shop is much smaller, no room to roam around like the other shop, where you could ogle and awe at wares. The owner of this shop is helpful. They have an adequate selection of ikebana vessels from Japan unlike anywhere else in LA. The prices are average considering import costs. Overall this shop is an important mainstay in the Japanese community.”
“This location excels at customer care. I have never felt more valued as I did in my experience with this particular Edible Arrangements. They responded quickly and efficiently to an anomaly in my order, and went above and beyond to deliver a fantastic experience. I will be exclusively using this branch, as I have peace of mind that my gifts will always be crafted with top notch quality and artistry. Thank you for an outstanding experience!”
“RW is a wonderful part of our local community. The gentlemen who run it and the young woman who works there are also gems. The store itself has countless treasures, but their service and hospitality make it exceptional. They also work with local culinary and creative artists so there are truly unique finds among their merchandise. They make any occasion special!”

111 Japanese Village Plaza Mall, Los Angeles“I was visiting the Japanese Village in LA when I stumbled upon a small Maneki Neko store. There was plently of items to choose from. I found a cute tea set I was looking for. Priced reasonably.”
“perfect for anyone who adores high-end but understated items from Japan. everything from perfectly balanced tableware to hinoki room spray to Comme des Garcons perfume to 14k gold jewelry to metal garden shears that look like museum pieces. it's the perfect escape from the corporate american aesthetic. the staff are lovely and unhurried. take your time to browse and admire the many treasures.”
“Wow! I came in here for a quick gander before an imaging appointment at Cedars. This place is high vibe. The crystals are gorgeous and there are oodles of them. They have some hard to find specimens and many pieces are museum grade quality. Magnifique! They have a crystal to fit in everyone's budget. I'm looking forward to returning to see what they will have available next time.”
