“Theres nothing like shopping here! Mr Charlie, and Manuel are like family now. They make us feel at home every single time. In all my shopping experience all my life nothing has compared to them. He picks one of a kind items and doesnt follow the norm. All his pieces are classic and we get so many compliments on them! They always remember your style and likes. Its amazing love them!”
“Always liked this store. On Melrose and Robertson. This one and the location in Century City are the best. I don’t mind if no one right away greets me. So what. (See so many on this post that are complaining if they don’t get anyone right away to greet them.) It gives me time first to see everything without getting bothered or smothered. I like that. They know I like my space. Been buying JV for many years. Love their boots! Especially when their heels on men’s boots were a bit higher. Have bought at the Soho location too in NYC.”
“Just went to replace a stolen hat at this location and Joey was above and beyond helpful. I Really appreciate the kindness and accommodation. There’s still hope at retail!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you know, you know. RTH is one of those rare stores where everything feels intentional. Each piece is beautifully crafted, with a clear point of view and a story behind the design.
The aesthetic is effortless—timeless, relaxed, and quietly cool with just the right edge. Nothing feels overdone, yet every item stands out. These aren’t fast-fashion purchases; they’re pieces you collect and wear for years.
Don’t walk—run. This place is a gem.”
“Fantastic experience all around. I couldn't recommend working with Woody on your next bespoke suit enough. Or even your first. I had a bit of apprehension having never gone through the process before, but Woody was extremely helpful in guiding me through it all, taking my rough ideas and tailoring them into a finished product.”
“Love John Elliott! the garment quality is Amazing ... Emmett went above & beyond in getting me the right options and sizes for me ... If you are in the area, stop in...Highly Recommend!”
“Stopped by here today while visiting LA and was pleasantly surprised by the helpful assistance from Eddie. He was knowledgeable and helped me find a few great items. Highly recommend checking it out!”
“Very cool stuff. Every piece here is worthy of attention. Lots of color at this location and the service is great! This place is for people who want to stand out!”
“Beautiful store, great spot to find quick outfits and pieces. Great variety of brands, staff is pretty helpful as well. Prices are standard. Store is curated well.”
“I had such a great experience thanks to Taylor at James Perse. From the moment I walked in, Taylor was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond to assist me, offering thoughtful suggestions without ever being pushy. Taylor made the whole shopping experience feel easy and personal, and their knowledge of the brand and attention to detail really stood out. It’s rare to come across someone who makes you feel so comfortable and taken care of—thank you, Taylor!”
“I personally didn't visit the store, however a member of my team did. They were totally flawed by the selection and customer service. There might be other similar stores in NYC and FLORIDA, yet this is by far superior. More importantly, it's WEST HOLLYWOOD !
Enough Said ? INDEED !
If you're in the area my team member highly recommends you to stop by and shop. Always shop locally !
Enjoy and always be PROUD of who you are !”
“It’s easy to forget what it takes to keep a small, independent store alive — especially in a place like West Hollywood and especially when that store serves such a deeply personal and emotional purpose. My 12 Step Store has stood as a resource, a refuge, and a place of celebration for those of us in recovery. RJ, the founder, has put his heart and soul into this vision for over two decades, and it shows in the store’s global reach and local presence.
Are there areas for growth? Of course. Every small business has growing pains — especially one run largely by a single individual trying to balance online operations, in-store customer service, and inventory in a niche space. But that doesn’t erase the impact this store has had on thousands of lives, including my own. To be able to walk in and buy a meaningful gift for someone’s sobriety birthday — and to feel connected to a larger community of recovery — is something truly rare.
We need more places like this, not fewer. And we need to remember that the people behind them are human, too. I’m grateful this store exists and proud to support it.”
“I drove over to Melrose, quite the schlep from the Marina, but I needed to see for myself how cute the clothes are at madhappy! I was helped by Eric who was so knowledgable and friendly, and made me feel welcome immediately. Sweatshirts are very heavy cotton, more like jackets, but will definitely keep you warm on these cold LA nights! Tee shirts are so soft and the hats and shoes are very cool too. I love the clean layout of the store because everything is easy to find. The price points are good for the quality that you are getting. A big bonus-Pantry Coffee is right outside the store! I want to add to this review that Pantry Coffee has the nicest employees! I loved my latte and the Ham and Cheese Croissant from Bianca. Another plus-they serve Courage Bagels!!! True perfection-Eating + Shopping=Dynamic Duo!”
“CHANELLE has been amazing helping me find everything I need, they are limited to
Selections but she’s gone above and beyond for me!
What an amazing asset to this company.”
“Lots of stuff to browse on the racks, but stock was pretty limited when I visited. Staff will check in with you maybe once or twice but are pretty hands off otherwise. They have blank tees that you can try on for sizing.”
“This is a place with gentle staff who give you a thumbs up ?
I visited on a Thursday in Korea.
Because I’m visiting the area on Wednesday haha.
There weren't many products, but
Steady camp caps and logo tees were in stock.
I visited around 3pm on a Wednesday and there was no wait.
It was nice because it was quiet haha
Korea Japan USA Middle East
I think the American Supreme employees are the most gentle.”
“Awesome new location that’s bigger and better than their older location. Plenty of good pieces for menswear especially shoes, pants and button down shirts. You’re most definitely paying more for the curation of the productions but I found some great boots while I was here. I only rated them 4 stars since they don’t have bathrooms, which is a real bummer for some of us. Overall solid great addition to the neighborhood.”
“I’m honestly surprised by some of the negative reviews, because every experience I’ve had at this H. Lorenzo location has been exceptional. Every time I’m in town, I make a point to stop by, and the staff has always been incredibly attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. They’ve gone above and beyond—offering thoughtful styling advice and even staying past closing hours to assist me.
Athena, in particular, has been consistently warm and gracious. Despite the store’s luxury offerings, there’s never been a trace of pretension—just a welcoming, knowledgeable team who clearly love what they do. I’ll definitely be back on my next visit!”
“I just stopped in while visiting WeHo and Julian Canada was the absolute best! I have a terrible sense of fashion, but he helped style me in lots of cute new clothes, gave me honest feedback on what worked and what didn’t/what I did and didn’t need. I left without breaking the bank and with some very versatile new shorts and shirts. He was very patient with me and so so helpful. I will definitely come back here!”
