“This is such a unique and beautiful space. During the day it functions as a vintage and mid-century shop and it transforms perfectly into an intimate event space. I hosted a surprise birthday celebration for my boyfriend here and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
The atmosphere, the design, and the amazing selection of mid-century furniture and vintage items created a stylish yet welcoming vibe that made the night feel truly special.

“I love the look of Charity’s Closet and how unique the pieces are. Definitely a spot to check out.
However, I’ve observed two situations in which staff spoke to customers in a rude tone.
This has made my shopping experience uncomfortable. Specifically today, March 24th I saw and overheard a staff member being rude to a customer.
Again I am not directly affected, but it would be great if staff could do there job kindly.

Much of the store is women's and children's clothes, but I felt there were also good selections for men's clothing, houseware, and there some children's toys and stuffed animals too. “I recently stumbled upon the Assistance League in Fullerton and let me tell you, it's like finding a thrift store run by a team of super-friendly, do-gooder superheroes! I found a dinosaur pancake mold from Williams-Sonoma for 50 cents - my breakfasts just got a Jurassic upgrade!

They're like the Robin Hood of Fullerton, except instead of stealing from the rich, they're just really good at thrift-shopping and giving back. “Great computer store but they have a low selection. I am usually looking for Apple laptops and ps4 games, but each time I go they always disappoint me because the first time I got lucky and got a 2010 MacBook Pro for 19.99 because it needed an os, but after, the first trip, the selection has been worse and many scalpers come and buy items so there are not many items left. The prices are usually too high, but some things they have 2 of but they are different prices”
“Great store and great customer service! It was definitely a relief to find an actual thrift store with thrift store prices in a circle full of absurdly expensive curated vintage stores. I ended up getting a Calvin Klein belt for two dollars, a really cute pair of star earrings for one, and a great pair of snakeskin boots with Vince Neil vibes (love him) for eight. The employees behind the counter were very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back”

“The last time I went to donate, Alberto was very helpful and polite. As a customer myself, I know sometimes customers can be very rude for no reason, and the employees get punished for it, which is very unfair. Thomas was very helpful as well. I hope on my next visit I get to be welcomed by Alberto and Thomas.”

And then Dave is just exceptional. He is so helpful, hard working, quick, knowledgeable, friendly and funny. I appreciate them all SO much. It's like the Salvation Army version of Cheers. :)”
“I want to like this thrift store because I often find one or two good things here but it’s frustrating that there is no organization on the clothing racks. Nothing is by size, so you have to look at each individual item to check the size if you like the style. I’m a busy mom and want to come and look for stuff for my son or myself or my husband and it usually just takes too long. The staff are usually just there to socialize with each other. But I still keep coming back…”
