“imperial Jewelry & Loan is the most honest and legitimate pawn shop I have ever worked with. very professional customer service, honest and fair. they test gold with a modern tester that does not need for all that scraping and solution on a plate. great way to pawn your items with out having to worry of getting them damaged when checked for purity. what won me over about this establishment is the fact that they text you well in advance to remind you of your pending ticket so that you will not lose access to your pawned belongings. if your goal is to simply visit to shop their inventory they have a great selection of designer woman's handbags, curated sought after electronics, great power tools, watches, sunglasses, and just all around good finds at good prices. Thank you Jason for always helping me out, and imperial jewelry & loan for pawning my goods when times get a little challenging. continued success and blessings.”

“The hotel is centrally located to plenty of restaurants and shopping plazas. I stayed about 8 days. One thing to note is due to it being close to the highway there was a lot of traffic noise overnight. The room service was pretty good, they service rooms daily. Only had slight issues with the housekeeping not leaving enough towels. If theres 4 towels, they should leave 4 clean towels, not 2. Other issue i had here was that when i booked the hotel i was told kids 12 & under eat free with a paying adult, once i got to the hotel i was told by staff that its 5 & under which really messed with my plan since i took into consideration the pricing of meals when booking this hotel.The restaurant was great, however- wish I had a chance to try more items on their menu. The shuttle they offer is to knotts berry farm & disney land only. You have to schedule the shuttle, which is great. You can always contact the driver through text or call and reschedule if needed with an hour notice. The pool was also nice and clean and the staff kept up with making sure there were always towels available. There is also a hot tub where you can change the pressure of the water going out the jets utilizing a knob. I look forward to staying at this hotel again when I schedule my next Disney trip or knotts berry farm.”

“About 5 years ago I was down and out and had to pawned my favorite guitar. I couldn't pay the loan back and due to losing my job. Frank called and let me know that he had held on to it for me after all these years knowing that 1 day I'd get back on my feet and be able to get my guitar back. Frank and the pawnmart family are the best in the business. I highly recommend them.”

Usually with pawn shops you get rude associates and complete absence of customer service, but Avalon Pawn Shop is the exact opposite of this. The stuff is super nice and helpful, they have all the answers and provide courteous and professional service. “Best pawn shop in the SGV! Josh, the owner, is amazing. I've been coming here for years and always find great deals. Both Josh and Marti are incredibly welcoming. I also wanted to address some of the negative reviews I've seen about Alamo, which I think are unfair. When you bring items to a pawn shop, you can't expect to get the full price you paid for them. For example, if you bought something for $100 new, you won’t get $100 for it at a pawn shop—this is a business, and they need to make a profit too. If you want full price for your items, try selling them on eBay or Offer Up. If you don’t like the price they offer, just take your stuff back and go elsewhere; there's no obligation to sell if you're not happy with the offer. Things change, and they might not take older items like cameras from the '80s unless they have value. Nobody wants to buy old junk! ? Anyway, before anyone assumes I work here—I don’t. Just wanted to share my honest, positive experience with these guys.”
