“This used to be a regular pit stop for my family on every road trip that passed through this town. Whether we needed to fill the tank or just wanted some snacks, it was a tradition to stop here. I left California years ago, but it is a little comforting to see that this place still stands.”

“showed up for a rest stop on a road trip, the man at the counter immediately directed me to the bathrooms when i walked in which was super nice as opposed to a customers only rule.. we still got some sodas. he gave us a small gift before we left. then before we drove off he gave us a few crazy pizzas and taquitos and said have a safe trip! best chevron on earth, super kind”
