“First time into Yreka Raley's today. It was very nice, not crowded at all. I found everything I needed. They have a nice selection of vegan items. I loved their fresh produce, very high quality. I will definitely be shopping there again. Everyone was so nice.”
“Glad we have this place in town. Other grocery outlets have better selections of european and asian stuff also better deals but I understand they stock the store based on the locale. Either way the people that work here are always pleasant never have to wait in a line too long as well.”
“? The only store of its type in the area. Very nice staff. I usually go to fill up on water, and end up getting produce and other items as well. ????????????♂️”
“THIS IS MY STORE !! AND HEIDI IS THE BEST !! SHE'S VERY FRIENDLY & PROFESSIONAL !! I MOVED HERE A YEAR AGO & HEIDI WAS VERY WELCOMING & KIND & THAT MEANS ALOT TO ME BEING NEW TO TOWN & NOT KNOWING ANYONE. I'M VERY GLAD THAT I MET HER !!”
“Great remodel so many more items carried then before a little challenging at first navigating the new locations of everything but overall great I would suggest scan and go for faster and easier check out. The new parking lot although makes no sense and find it very hard to find parking”
“I recently discovered this meat market, which seems like a great addition to Yreka. Unfortunately, it's sort of hidden in the downtown area of Yreka, so many highway travelers will miss it unless they know about it or happen to stumble into it, like I did. But here's how you do it. First, try to plan your travel up or down I-5 so you can pass through Yreka during the day, or before they close at 5:30. It makes a great spot to get a freshly made meat sandwich, which is a much better alternative than settling for some fast food joint near the freeway., which I've done a few times. (I still love Black Bear Diner, though, but a deli sandwich is as least a comparably good alternative.) If you're not hungry, get a sandwich to save for when you get hungry, and can't find any good options. If you still can't compel yourself to get a sandwich, then just get some meat to cook later at home. As Barney Fife said, "any fire started pioneer style is likely to be hotter and make the food taste better than a fire from an ordinary match."Similarly, any meat from a meat market like Miner Street Meat Market is likely to taste better than what you'd get from a Safeway or other chain supermarket. Plus, it's pretty cool just to look around the meat market, and remind yourself that in spite of the sometimes boring scenery around Yreka and your sore butt, that there really is some nice civilization in Yreka that's kinda nice to experience as you take a break. Also, next door is a small restaurant called Black Bart's, with the same owner as the meat market. If you hit them around dinner time, and are just a bit hungry, give them a try. I haven't yet, but plan to on my next trip through Yreka”
