“Stayed here summer 2025. Stayed in the same cabin id stayed in probably 25-30 years ago as a kid. Literally nothing had changed, down to the coffee pot. And there were no grills at the cabin as there had been years before. Most everything is very old, and very rustic. No AC (and cabins will get hot during a summer day) but there is a heater if it gets cold. No TV, no internet at the cabins. There’s electricity and running water and all that, so it’s really more than sufficient. Would be nice if they at least put some more usable cookware for the kitchen… We had two moose wander by during our time, and other wild life. I really liked it, my wife liked it, and it was very nostalgic. Little too rustic for my pampered young girls, but I knew that going in. The lodge is a nice place to hang out if you need cell service to work etc. no complaints but as others have said, you have to be going for that experience - if you want luxury, this isn’t your spot.”
“Honestly could not have asked for a better experience, venue, and team to work with! WBL was the first venue we toured and honestly did not need to see more. Hawley and Lauren were super attentive, helpful, and transparent through the whole process. Lauren was a rockstar coordinating the day of and being on the ball the whole time. From the food, people, and of course the beautiful venue, you cannot go wrong with WBL. Thanks for making our winter wedding dreams come true and allowing us to be present in the day with ZERO headaches!”
