“We were walking downtown when my 5 year old decided that she needed to look in this store. It was 10am and to our delight, the door was open. We started browsing only to discover that it was not open yet - but we were met with kindness and allowed to continue through the store. There are so many interesting pieces and loved seeing the local art. We purchased some smaller items and look forward to our next visit (and possibly ordering some things to be shipped home)!”

“Wow what a performance by the cast of the year of the frog and toad. We took our granddaughter for 2nd grade of SkyView Windsor and we really enjoyed the performance I know it was directed at young children but the wife and I really enjoyed ourselves. Kudos to the cast”

“Went here with my partner for a glassblowing date night and had a blast learning from Dale. I wish the glassblowing studio was a larger part of the space, as it was one of the more involved aspects of what we got to experience and only existed as a small portion of the business. The gallery area and immersive garden were really cool (though it was too cold to truly take in the full spectrum of the outdoor space for long), and the staff were all so sweet and accommodating. It was a night to remember, and I’m so glad we found Spectra! I’ll definitely be back.”

“Really interesting, tucked away spot. I went for a jazz show with covers / inspiration by Sun Ra and it fit the space well. The showed a short film and also gave a taste of the normal programming there which involves all of the light based art and visuals on screen synchronized to music. There's comfy couches, floor cushions, and snacks included with the ticket price.”

“My husband and I had several art pieces that needed framing and we decided we should not have these beautiful prints in tubes and trash bags any longer. We called a couple local framing shops and decided to go here. I am so glad we did! Judy was amazing at matching the colors and giving suggestions on mats and frames. Yes, framing your art is expensive, but I felt the prices here were very competitive and completely worth it for the unique framing options they had. I've taken my art to other places to get framed and never been so pleased with the results. Thank you! We can't wait to buy more art now.”

“Both the ladies helping me were so kind and genuine! I came in needing to crop my Kettubah for a frame I already purchased. They helped me do this and noticed a bad backing and helped replace it too. Awesome experience and will definitely be back for future framing forays !”

“My wife and I came here for our first pottery experience and it was awesome!! We had a 2-hour private session. Rae was our instructor and she was amazing. She made it easy to learn the basics and was incredibly helpful throughout the process. My wife and I both made 2 pieces each within the given time. I am so excited to pick up our final products. We can't wait to come back and make some more stuff. Thank you Flux and thank you Rae for the unforgettable experience.”

“Great place to see up and coming or established artists. Friendly staff are always happy to discuss the work on display. This is not a commercial gallery but a non-profit organization. Work is for sale often but their focus is community building, conceptual art, and giving a platform to marginalized artists. If you're trying to understand the Denver art scene , this is a great place to start.”

“Such an honor to have this amazing talent in our hood! Such a unique approach to producing beautiful art... look up some videos to watch his technique of "one-line" drawing... I can't help but think, "what if he has to sneeze?"... mind-blowing focus!”

“Ritual tattoo gallery. South Broadway. Denver Colorado. With the homie. She got nice Cherub's on forearm. Watch out for "heavy handed " Charley. If getting tattooed in sensitive areas. May want a light handed artist. The ink only has to go just below surface ,some guys like going for the bone. For some reason, ask him sure he has one.”

“I am a 6 yr Life Member and Peer Mentor at the Veterans Treatment court in the 18th Judicial District, Arapaho County. Very fulfilling work. I am very impressed with the tireless and extensive work being done by VFW Post 1. I need to contribute to their good work with Veterans and the community. Appears that numerous community groups also are aware and beneficiaries of the patriotic humanity of VFW Post 1. I am proud to call myself a member.”

“What a hidden gem! The owner was amazing and so knowledgeable. It is a small store but I will be honest, I like it more than the big ones. Everything in Red Herring is carefully curated and it takes away the guessing with products, as they only have the good stuff!! I will definitely be coming back for more supplies.”
