“I went to five shops around town and this place was the only one that didn't feel like they were trying to screw me over. Straightforward, Fair Deal that took less than 10 minutes. I don't deal in these kinds of things, just had something to sell but after checking prices all over town I got significantly more here. Everywhere else just gave me excuses of why they couldn't give me more but I saw right through that”
“Great shop. Owner and staff are super chill and helpful. They had the random It's Jeff comic I was looking for. Saved me from having to order online. Thanks!”
“I can't rate this place high enough. Getting back into R/C after 20+years off, and they have been nothing but helpful. From showing me how to do the simplest things on my car, to helping me find parts and rig up fixes, and hosting awesome races, I cannot find anything to complain about. If I could give 6 stars I would. This place is an absolute gem. Please never go away!
When you enter, you will be in the hobby shop which is a fully stocked and well sorted RC car hobby shop. They have yet to not have the part I need and have plenty in stock for many brands of RC cars.
In the back is the indoor clay 1/10th offroad RC track. It has a great and ever changing layout. Behind the track is a large pit area where racers set up and work on their cars. The amount of help I have gotten from the other racers cannot be measured. When not asking for help, help is offered anyway. Everyone works together to make sure everyone has what they need and has a great time. It really is a great community here.
Outside is a small rock crawling course as well as a large turf track. I have yet to run on it but have watched videos and it looks like a blast. I look forward to running outdoors in the summer.
Thank you MHOR, you are awesome!”
“I love Crit Castle! I meet up with my friends here once a week on Saturdays and play board games. Tyler is a really nice guy. Every time you see him he’s taking an interest in what’s going on, interacting in a friendly way and being super helpful if you need anything. He has a really fun sense of humor and honestly he’s probably the best employee I’ve ever met at the numerous card shops and game shops I’ve frequented over the years. I can’t speak for the other employees, as I haven’t yet met them.
The building is spacious with plenty of places to set up and play or do art or whatever you want. They have a huge selection of models, paints, tools, di, games and more. If you can’t find something you like, it’s not because the shop.
I am a wheelchair user and it’s quite accessible. The shop has a lot of great people that visit so the vibes are immaculate. I can’t recommend it enough and will be a regular as long as they’ll let me. It is a family friendly atmosphere and my 10 year old and I meet up with our gaming group here from afternoon until we get tired. The shop is open until midnight on Saturday so we feel like we really loved it up. This week we played Cafe Baras and Art Society while a neighboring table played Magic the Gathering. If you like Warhammer 40k; this is your place. No literally. I mentioned not understanding the premise and was given a really quick autism friendly crash course and now I get it. Literally the coolest people there. ❤️”
“I have to completely change my review here. Now generally I will give most everyone a second shot. Originally I was unwilling to consider this. But, I changed my mind and brought my 1/24 scale crawler in to have a bag of parts installed. In on a Monday afternoon and ready Tuesday afternoon, man quick turn around. Never told them who I was, or that I had been in contact with the owner Fred. Only charged me $75.00, holy moly that's cheap! I'm super happy, and my crawler is a completely different animal ?. Props to David who did the work! Thanks, have yet to have it out yet but it's been raining.”
“I have been twice now to get some art framed. The second piece was a bit more expensive than the four I framed earlier but it will look amazing. Both employees who helped me were very patient and helpful.”
“The person working this morning was super friendly and helpful! We needed some balloons inflated for a party at slick city and they were done super quick for us. Thank you!”
“Michaels is one of my go-to happy places. Although limited, I love that they carry some fabric. Whenever we need high-end art supplies and don't want to order from online companies, we find what we need here.”
“One of my favorite craft store
You will found everything you need for your project and even inspiring for more awesome projects
The staff are friendly helpful”
“I went in to gather some information on a 1955 Jim Thorpe #37. I recieved expert advice which really paid off. They were bluntly honest, needed in these type of situations, and advised me on where and when I could go to get the card graded. Little says more about a business than when they treat people, from whom they make no money. Thank you gentleman! You make it a no-brainer to return for all of my sports-cards needs.”
“If you are reading this, put down the phone or close the laptop and head there now. This is the best sports card hobby shop in the area. Beau was very attentive and helpful, patient with me in answering all my newbie questions. I walked out feeling informed and well taken care of. Come see their massive inventory”
