“These guys saved my dogs leg. My dog jumped out of our car window. Our dogs femur was in about 20 or so peices, maybe more. If you're looking for a cheap service, this isn't it. What you are going to get is quality care. These guys had my dog walking in days. While that doesnt seem impressive until you look at my dogs X rays and see the major reconstruction they did on his leg.

From October 13th to Feb 17th, our dog made a full recovery. He plays full speed, plays tug, some light jumps, and runs full speed.

There is no noticeable limp or anything outside of a cool white scar from the surgical sight which healed well. For a near 100 lb XL Bully, I was beyond impressed with recovery.

Even the underwater treadmill was fun for him. He blew bubbles with his nose in the water.

This place saved my dogs life and ours. I will be forever thankful.”

Our sweet Labradoodle, Butters, was born on December 9, 2025, with severe congenital abnormalities.

Throughout this journey, we have encountered veterinary providers who were uncomfortable treating Butters because her condition was so unusual. We were often made to feel as though she was a risk or a burden simply because her medical needs were complicated. It was heartbreaking.

Then we found Plum Creek Veterinary Services.

While staying with my daughter in Castle Rock, Butters developed a severe ear infection, extreme vertigo, nausea, vomiting, and yet another UTI. I was terrified because I didn't know where to turn. I called Plum Creek, and they were able to see her immediately.

From the moment we walked through the door, everything was different.

The staff welcomed Butters with kindness, affection, and compassion. Dr. Rudolf took the time to review her extensive medical history and truly listen to me. I was extremely worried about the cost of treatment because our finances had already been devastated by Butters' medical emergencies. Dr. Rudolf worked with us to make sure Butters could receive the care she needed.

She treated Butters' ear infection, nausea, and pain and cared for her as though she had been her patient for years.

The following day, Butters became worse. I drove back to the clinic without an appointment because I was so worried. Dr. Rudolf saw her right away. She didn't charge us for another examination. She wasn't focused on the money. She was focused on Butters.

She sent us home with everything we needed to stabilize and care for her until we could return home and prepare for her surgery.

That kindness meant more to us than I can possibly explain.

Dr. Rudolf even asked us to keep her updated about Butters' surgery. That may seem like a small thing, but after everything we had experienced, knowing that someone genuinely cared about our girl meant the world to us.

Butters is not just a dog to us. She is a miracle who has survived things that could have taken her life. She has helped me through some of my most difficult days, and she has brought comfort and hope to children who desperately needed it.

And Dr. Rudolf saw that.

She didn't see a complicated case. She didn't see a financial burden. She saw Butters.

Although Plum Creek Veterinary Services is nearly three hours from our home, we have decided that Dr. Rudolf will be Butters' permanent veterinarian. That is how much trust she earned from us in such a short amount of time.

To Dr. Rudolf and everyone at Plum Creek Veterinary Services: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for treating Butters with dignity, compassion, patience, and love. Thank you for treating us with kindness during a time when we were scared, exhausted, and financially overwhelmed. Thank you for caring about her simply because she mattered.

After seven incredibly difficult months, finding a veterinarian who treated Butters not as a problem to be managed, but as a precious life worth fighting for, was an incredible gift.

“Dr Servi and Alysa are very good at physical therapy and helped my 7 year old Labrador Retriever recover from a second TPLO knee surgery. Duke healed up fine as the surgeons expected, but his use of the repaired leg was slow. The injured leg muscle had atrophied. They treated Duke with loving care and gave homework to get him back on track. After about 5 sessions he was stronger, and better able to use his leg. I was able to make a same day appointment (literally just a few hours before needing to come in!) and while my dog was nervous to be at a new vet, all of the techs and the vet herself made my dog feel very comfortable. “My dog was attacked roughly two weeks ago. I felt like her normal vet was too far away to help, so I called here. They were willing to see her to help, and even got to do it that day. I’ve had a few follow-up visits. One to get her drain taken out, and the next to make sure she’s healing well. Dr. Clarke was who she saw the first day, and the rest were with Dr. Boals. Both vets and the assistants with them did great. She’s healing well. They answered all of my questions. And the front desk workers were so helpful with payments, because I needed to cancel mine and the owner of the other dog called them to pay all of it. They even called me a few minutes ago to check in on how she’s doing. I can’t honestly give my opinion on the cost, because I never had something like this happen before. I can say that I appreciate their willingness to help a dog they didn’t see before, and how kind they’ve all been. I also am so grateful that they did the surgery well and she’s healing up fine.
