This company had made us suffer through -17 degree weather in January with no heat unless we would pay an extra 300$, we had called them several times before hand in December and they never came. Everytime they would finally come before hand the employees were rude, and NEVER gave you notice when they dropped off or if you needed to relight your pilot light. Our entire business reeked of propane. They are greedy, and crule, and don't care about their customers what so ever, unless they are squeezing money out of you.

I spent over a year trying to remove a bill that was not ours to pay. In the meantime of being charged these unnecessary bills, we kept being charged late fee's. I talked to over 13 customer service people over this period of which many continued to refuse to even look into these arbitrary bills.

The first time in three years you have done what you were supposed to do when you said you were going to do it. Your field people have always been great. Your computer and office system is terrible.

Phone lines give you the run around and never connect you to a person, then ask for a survey about the person you talked to!? ? This is rediculous. Fix yourself. Then fix the propane tank I have with an open/close valve that doesnt work.

After a schedule mistake made by Amerigas, Amergas did the right thing and resolved it

I've never experienced such a poor experience with a company in my entire life. We've had Amerigas for 3 years now. In those 3 years, we've run out of propane 4 times, and once over Christmas, forcing us to evacuate our home. During the winter months, it usually takes over a month for them to fulfill a delivery. And good luck calling--they'll escalate it to "Urgent, 1 day delivery," only to take another 2 weeks to deliver. We've been waiting now (evacuated again) for almost a month, and were promised 1 day delivery 8 days ago. And every day that I've called, the agent has told me not to worry, and that they can guarantee that it'll be delivered the following day. It's really bordering class action lawsuit territory for me, as it feels criminal. Who knows how many other families they've displaced, or at the very least, have financially disadvantaged. Get your propane elsewhere.

I have contacted Amerigas six times regarding my account to try and resolve issue. I used the "contact us" process 2 times in the last 7 days, the most recent being 5 days ago. NO RESPONSE. Called customer service line today 800-263-7442. When person answered there was so much background noise I could not hear - sounded like party going on. Group laughing & chatting. Called back and routed to Customer Advocate in effort to resolve the issue that I cannot access my account information online. When I finally got to talk with "customer advocate" she tried to help. Again, lots of background noise and people talking. She tried to troubleshoot but unsuccessful. She directed me to call online support 866-243-5470. I called the number, and got a "customer advocate" again. She said I was given the wrong #. Call Online support 844-284-4878. When I called that number line dropped. Called again, and got "customer advocate" who said that was the sales number and she did not know what the online support number is. Quite an advocate!!! I cannot get Amerigas to RESPOND AND FIX the problem. I need to check usage history, dates ordered, costs, and payments and unable to do so despite accessing several times in the prior months. I'd hate to experience a gas leak problem! Dangerous doing business with Amerigas.

Worst company I've ever dealt with. Been a customer for about 6 years. Ever since the pandemic they've closed down their offices here in Colorado springs and every winter and summer. I tried to call and they promised me propane and it never comes. Ran out of gas this past winter. I have recently sold the building and they refuse to come to pick up the tanks have called six or seven times within the past month and cannot get a pickup date. This is so ridiculous dealing with people on the east coast and cannot get anything accomplished. I am ready to go to the news or start litigation to get these tanks out of the yard of the building I previously owned . If you need propane I would seriously think about going to a different company. It is sad.

We have attempted several times to have our concern addressed and continue to get the runaround without any direct communication on whether our request had been reviewed. We’ve spent many hours on hold, been hung up on, sent emails, and requested follow up to no avail.

This company is rediculos. We have been trying to get delivery for 2 1/2 weeks. Every other day I get a call saying delivery is tomorrow and tomorrow never comes. When I call (who knows where) I am told delivery is tomorrow. If the other delivery companies were taking new customers we certainly would change. Last time we needed delivery it was 2 months because the driver couldn't find the house or the driveway was too slick or a meriade of other excuses

I ordered propane delivery on December 12, 2022 and as of this writing I still have not received delivery. I have attempted 6 follow up phone calls and each time I am transferred to the "Resolution Department", where I have to repeat information I just provided to the first person who received my phone call. The Resolution person then states he needs to review my record , I now have been on the telephone for at least 15 minutes; the person returns and states my order will be expedited and I will receive a call within 24 hours telling me when I will receive delivery. I have yet to receive a return call. Before I hang up I explain I live in a mountain area and the road is accessible now, but may not be in the next 4-5 days if it snows again. I'm told they will note this in the record. Last time I received a text on February 9th that said the driver couldn't enter because the "ground was to soft" which is ridiculous because myself and other property owners were driving in and out of the property on a daily basis as well as a large dump truck. I never can talk to a local representative, last time it was a person in the Philippine's.I have offered to purchase the tanks as it is obvious AmeriGas does not want to service me; I am the only homeowner left in our subdivision receiving propane from Amerigas as all others have switched to another propane provider do to the poor performance of Amerigas. I have offered to purchase the tanks but have been told Amerigas only sales tanks sizes 60 gallons or under, which is truly false, as they just sold my neighbor is 1,000 gallon tank in October 2022 because he was experiencing the same problems I have been. You would think after being a customer for 22 years I could receive better service! I will be filing a formal complaint with the Colorado AG office.Larsen4365 Little Turkey Creek RdColorado Springs, CO 80926

Used to be a good company, but their customer service as of about 2 years ago became terrible. It's going to cost me money to switch providers, but since I can't ever get ahold of anyone to help me, what choice do I have? 5 emails, 5 phone calls, long holds, transfers.... What a bad experience.

We've been customers of Amerigas for years. Their customer service was second to none. WHAT HAPPENED!Jan 8th we were scheduled for a delivery. My neighbor called me at work and said that the driver sat in my driveway for an hour and then drove off without making a delivery. We called their customer service ( based in the Philipines) and they said he had mechanical problems and would be back the next day.Feb 1st, we ran out of propane, we've been out now for 3 days now and still waiting. Our house is 50 degrees and no hot water. We have repeatedly called their customer service and told that tbere is an emergency work order in and we will have a delivery in 24 hours. Still nothing!I even went to the Colorado Springs branch and was told by a driver that there is no one to talk to and nothing he can do without a work order and if time permitting....I have been told by the operators that I have to be home when they call and deliver for a leak test. I have already missed 2 days from work waiting. How much longer?WHAT HAPPENED TO AMERIGAS????
